E’ stato un bagno nella fanciullezza la mia visita con gli amici (Rosa, Mariano e Franco all’Ecomuseo di Macchia Valfortore. Perche’ visitare solo Matera? quando a Macchia puoi provare le stese senzazioni, forse piu’ genuine e meno turistiche. La ricostruzione miticolosa degli ambienti con oggetti che ti riportano indietro di decenni e per le nuove generazioni e’ una testimonianza tangibile della nostra cultura contadina, artigianale e non solo…Forse sui banchi di scuola’ in esposizione, mi ci sono seduto anch’io nella classe della signora Scocca da cui ho imparato a scrivere. E che dire degli arnesi dei contadini usati da mio nonno Pasqualino e nonna Maria, o la macchina da cucire e le forbici da sarta che avrebbe potuto usare nonna Rosaria o mio padre Luigi o Mia madre Incoronata.Mi sono commosso, grazie al cielo indossavo occhiali da sole cosi’ Mariella non si e’ accorta di nulla. Gli oggetti in esposizione, non sono freddi come quelli al Metropolitan Museo di New York o al Museo Egizio di Torino, questi ti parlano della tua famiglia, della tua storia recente, della gente che ha fatto l’Italia come e’oggi ricostruendola sulle macerie delle Grandi Guerre. E’ la poesia viva del ricordo che dobbiamo scrivere rivisitando gli oggetti dei nostril morti.
