Honestly was expecting much worse given some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. All the facilities you need despite a kitchen but why would you need that anyway with so many great reasonably priced local restaurants. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, even has a bar on site which makes socialising a little easier, although it’s not often too busy. The only thing is it’s distance from Florence centre but it’s easily accessible via the bus (15/20 mins) or electric scooters that are available to rent.

The rooms were fine but the bathrooms smelt and were dirty. The staff were friendly enough. There are no cooking facilities apart from a microwave and kettle but only plastic bowls and cutlery to eat it from, terrible for the environment!

My name is Tia, and I travel for the first time in Firenze . I saw this hotel on booking for the level of reviews on google and quite positive . The hotel is situated 15 minutes from the square by bus, and 30 minutes on foot. Not only there are cheaper prices but the quality is at its highest . Rolandi , the bartender guy, is truly kind and quite professional, the recepstionists are always kind and provide you with informations where to eat, what to visit and how to use means of transport. I would reccomend and come back again. 5/5

The hostel is not social at all, doesn’t have a kitchen (like??? It’s the most important thing for a backpacker!) or a common area to socialize. It is just a place to stay. And I only liked my room because it was a female only, because there were a lot of older men around the hostel. Besides that, my friend tried to call the reception to book another night because she couldn’t leave in the next day and the receptionist was very rude and hung up the phone on her face. The night receptionist as well was always with an angry face.Don’t recommend it.

Quando io e mio marito siamo stati a Firenze, abbiamo alloggiato in questo ostello (ex monastero dei Sette Santi Fondatori) dotato di diverse stanze e ubicato nella zona di Campo di Marte vicino allo stadio e a pochi minuti a piedi dall'omonima stazione ferroviaria. Siamo rimasti molto contenti perché la struttura pur essendo semplice è molto curata e con servizi da hotel e il personale è gentile e accogliente. Abbiamo ricevuto in dotazione una stanza doppia privata con bagno spaziosa e ordinata con ottimo servizio di pulizia dove abbiamo riposato bene tutta la notte poiché la zona è veramente tranquilla. L'ostello non si trova nel centro storico della città ma questo è facilmente raggiungibile in pochi minuti prendendo l'autobus che ferma alla fermata di fronte dove c'è l'edicola oppure raggiungendo velocemente la stazione di Campo di Marte e prendendo il treno per la vicina stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Il prezzo è conveniente. Veramente consigliato

Ci sono andata in gita di 3 media con la mia classe. Esperienza orrenda, lontanissimo dal centro di Firenze, più di mezz'ora a piedi, pulizia inesistente, lenzuola e cuscini sporchi, bagno da far pietà e porte rotte. Quando si apre il rubinetto si sente odore di fogna, la doccia è incrostata ed esce soltanto acqua bollente. La cosa peggiore è stata che molti di noi ragazzi sono stati punti da cimici da letto e altri insetti, di conseguenza più di una decina di ragazzi si sono trovati punture rosse su tutto il corpo. A me qualcosa ha punto sulla palpebra e ho l'occhio gonfissimo.La notte è impossibile dormire per le troppe zanzare, le finestre sono rotte e la notte si muore di freddo (non abbiamo usato le coperte perché erano sporche). L'unica cosa buona era la colazione. Evitate di andarci, pessima esperienza.

I would say is 3.5Garden and common area is really good. Staff very friendly.Rooms are not so good, kind of old, in my room you couldn't tell if someone was or not in the bathroom, key to the door is standard so many times door reamines open. And in summer, for an 8 bedroom just one fan.Also, it's 45 minutes walking away from the centre, but that's no an issue, you can rent scooters everyday

Abbiamo alloggiato io e la mia famiglia per una notte. Appena arrivate in stanza abbiamo trovato capelli sul letto, sul cuscino, un po' dappertutto. Il bagno era minuscolo per quello che abbiamo pagato.

Ci ho alloggiato per la prima volta e ne sono rimasta soddisfatta, ottime colazioni

Rooms and bathrooms clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Those are the positives.Hostel is around 25-30 minutes walk to the city center.My issue however is with the laundry…… €5 euro for a wash…..and then €5 for a dry. Then you find out for this €10 you need to go and buy your own soap. For that price tag they could at least give you a measly tide pod. For this I can only give 4 stars. If you don’t plan on doing your laundry I would recommend staying here.
