Fantastic property with lovely views. Quiet location with cool evenings. Steep hill to get to the property but within a short drive to Cortona and a little further to lake tresemino. Elena was a great host and holds cooking classes. Highly recommend

Borgo immerso nella natura con una fantastica vista, un po' isolato ma comunque a pochi chilometri da Cortona. Grazie ad Elena e al mitico Mario per la disponibilità!

Assolutamente strepitoso. È come essere in Paradiso. Poi oltre alla location e alla bellezza della struttura, Elena e il suo fantastico papà Mario sono persone piacevolissime e disponibilissime. Che altro dire?

Can be difficult to find. While a nice quiet and comfortable rustic villa, amenities such as kitchen, toilet and shower would benefit from some attention.

I feel obligated to review because of the 1-star review even though I stayed here about 10 years ago. If someone is going to leave a 1-star rating and not even be bothered to offer an explanation, I think you have a duty to disregard it. The property is lovely and situated on the outskirts of Cortona and the view is splendid (even though we didn't have great weather when we were here). This makes a great base to explore Tuscany and Umbria if you want a nice, quiet and secluded retreat to come to at the end of the day. We did not deal with Elena very much when we were there although the time we saw her she was very friendly and attentive. We dealt mostly with her charming father, who spoke barely a word of English but nonetheless made us feel very welcome and at home.

Posto meraviglio, immerso nella natura. Tenuto splendidamente dalla gentilissima Elena e dal papà Mario. Due persone squisite che ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. Arredamento delle case in tipico stile rustico toscano, curato nei minimi dettagli. Vista sulla valdichiana mozzafiato e piscina su due livelli adatta anche a bambini. Consiglio le lezioni di cucina o la cucina di Elena che ha un tocco magico ed i piatti, preparati in diretta, sono cucinati con materie prime km0 e qualità eccellente. Nonostante il forte caldo si sta benissimo perché c'è un piacevole venticello che permette di stare all'aperto anche a pranzo senza soffrire il caldo.Vicino cortona e tutti bellissimi luoghi di questo lato della toscana.
