Fly fishing Sicily outdoor experience

My husband and I had the most amazing day with Peppe from Fly Fishing Sicily. From the start, Peppe’s communication via email and WhatsApp was friendly, helpful and professional. He picked us up from our hotel in Catania and took us to the most beautiful forest and stream to fly fish. I booked this as a surprise for my Husband’s 30th birthday whilst in Sicily for our honeymoon. My husband had only tried fly fishing once and I had no experience at all. Peppe was a great teacher and was very patient with us. By the end of the day we had caught so many fish beautiful rainbow trout. Peppe bought us lunch and drinks on the way and picked a beautiful spot for us to eat in the forest next to the stream. On the way back we visited Alcantara Gorge which was such a nice surprise and was so refreshing, as well as beautiful. Thank you for making our day so memorable! We absolutely loved it!!!

I went on a solo half day rainbow trout fly fishing trip with Peppe in Sicily. He picked me up at my hotel in Taormina and drove us to a nearby mountain range to a quiet stream where he proceeded to get me on tons of Sicilian rainbow trout on the fly. We really wore them out, sometimes getting two hookups at a time.He is very knowledgeable of the Sicilian history and is a great fly fishing guide.We finished out the trip with a fresh lunch of local meats, cheeses and beer that he brought for us.I would highly recommend Peppe for anyone who wants to get some fly fishing in while on the island

Peppe e‘ un grande! Un professionista d‘altri tempi la cui super disponibilitä lo rende unico. Nulla e‘ impossible con lui. La pesca a mosca ce l‘ha nel sangue e si vede e si sente con tutti i consigli e le tecniche che ti mostra. Se volete vivere un‘esperienza a 360 gradi non posso che consigliare lui! Da straniero in terra sicula la definisco una delle esperienza piu belle di sempre.Ritorno‘ l‘anno prossimo!!
