Venice Resorts

It was a pretty decent living space with air conditioning and washroom space. The house was in a good central location close to the main drop off location from airport. There’s lots of restaurants and shops right in the same street to eat and window shop around. I would recommend.

No not ever again. Very shabby and old. Only thing going for it was the bar across the road

We just needed a night before an early flight, & having been to Venice before but never having stayed on island, we were looking for an affordable choice. By & large this fit that bill, tho there were some quirks. The self-check-in was fine; they send detailed instructions by email. Be aware that you cannot store luggage there before check-in in the afternoon, so you will have to pay a local luggage storage service. The location was awesome- walkable to many things, tho carrying luggage over all of the bridges a bit of a challenge. On that note, we stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, and the last 2 flights of stairs are quite tall/steep- higher than lower floors. Do-able, but just good info to share. Double bed is actually 2 twins pushed together, but we had no issues. The downsides were: air-conditioning not much power, inefficient & inconsistent- it just can't keep up with the Venice heat of late June, and the system is placed in a part of the room that is not where people are (over a table). It was blowing at times but the room was only comfortable for a few random minutes. Still, it was livable for the most part. The small fridge also does not get very cold. Lastly, the shower doors do not fully close, so it is easy for water to end up on the bathroom floor- very slick(!)--& when we arrived, our bathroom door had a huge dent. I immediately sent a picture to say we had arrived & the door was already damaged, to avoid any kind of charge or assumption.I did reach out about the aircon, & they did respond, but it sounded as if it was a combo of previous guests running it higher than rules allow and inefficient system placed in illogical area.Would I stay there again? Maybe. price-wise, helpful. Perhaps other places in that price range have the same quirks & it is better to go with the quirks you know? But I did feel a bit stuck in a situation that couldn't be changed. Also, the entry door is next to a restaurant where we often had to walk thru a cloud of smoke to get into our building...and the cloud crept into the lower level of the building.So...not sure..But glad for the experience!

The place hadn't been renovated recently but was very clean. We were in the red room" which had one extra room with a single bed and was wide and spacious enough. It was in a very nice central location
