This was a must-do experience in Fara Sabina, just outside Rome. Sally and Guido are passionate about the land and history in their small countryside town outside Rome. They were also highly communicative before the event and made me feel special the day of. It's clear how much they love their environment and they shared their knowledge and love for Italy! It was special to go to the largest olive tree in Europe, and eating local meats and cheeses at their property was incredible. I look forward to seeing them again when my travel takes me back to Italy!

We had a wonderful day with Sally and Guido! From exploring the country side in the Sabine Hills to learning how to cook amazing pasta and even doing an olive oil tasting, the experience was 5 stars all around! Don't miss booking this! It was a nice reprieve from the busy touring of Rome city center and a perfect way to end our vacation week in Italy. Excellent communication throughout the planning and transportation to and from was simple from Rome and a great day trip experience! Thank you!

Very impressive and educational experience. Learned about local history. We seen many different unique areas with loads of historical background. The education of local foods was a major part of the success. Learned about composting and recycling. Cooking incredible artichoke that was so delicious and tasty. Great sauce of cheese and special secret ingredient. Dessert was phenomenal and quickly made. There was no boring moments. Very polite and friendly and extremely clean. Rocky the mascot was delightful to meet. Definitely will try many more times. A new family tradition.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon with Sally and Guido! They are fantastic guides that are extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding Roman countryside as well as area wines and food. We enjoyed a variety of interesting wines and delicious food at the gorgeous winery and then at the terrace of their home. We all had a fabulous afternoon. We truly appreciated their hospitality and generosity. We could not have asked for more! We would give 6 stars if we could.

This was by far one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. My husband and I had the best day with Sally and Guido! They were kind and helpful hosts and fantastic company on our one day cooking class and olive tour. We were the only people on the tour and they still kept our booking. This experience felt like a real glimpse into the Italian lifestyle. Plus, Guido helped us learn some traditional Italian cooking tips and tricks. We only wish we had more days in Italy to book the longer cooking holidays! Thank you Sally and Guido for an amazing day!

We had such an incredible experience with Guido and Sally on their one day olive oil tour last week. They were so generous and so comfortable to be with. We first stopped by the largest olive tree that was 2,000 years old! We then took a gorgeous drive through the countryside and stopped by a local olive oil source in Fara Sabina. We loved buying fresh olive oil right from the source and learning about the process of the machinery. We loved walking through the olive grove near their home and learning about the olive trees and Guido’s foraging skills. The breathtaking view from their patio as we enjoyed the delicious meal was top notch. More than that, they were able to give us great recommendations of places to see and find great food near our AirBNB in Pigneto. We are so grateful for this wonderful experience available to us through them. We highly recommend this tour. Much love, Christian and Kami

Our tour with Sally and Guido was the highlight of our trip. From the moment they picked us up, we felt at home. They are so passionate about the olive oil process and the land as a whole, and that shows through this thoughtfully curated tour. The view is something out of a movie, and Guido and Sally are so knowledgeable about the land and history. At the end, they welcome you back to their home and made the most delicious lunch. The cheese was like nothing I've had before, and Guido made the most delicious ricotta cake. If you're coming from Rome, like we did, it's an easy and comfortable trip on the train, and the view is incredible. They picked us up from the station, and dropped us back off. They made us feel right at home. My boyfriend and I could not recommend this trip enough.

We had such a lovely time experiencing the Sabine Hills area with Sally and Guido! As a mid-twenties couple we like to experience the surrounding area wherever we go with an out-of-the-city experience, but they can be hit or miss given they usually cater to an older audience. Needless to say, we enjoyed the experience so much it was actually our favourite day of our trip to Rome!Sally and Guido were the best hosts, with the experience starting before the actual day itself as Sally provides clear instructions on how to reach the Fara Sabina train station where they were waiting to pick us up. The day started with a trip to the biggest olive tree in Europe, followed by a drive to a local olive press, followed by a visit and walk through an olive orchard, and lastly to Sally and Guido's home where we were treated to delicious local delicacies. We took in the breathtaking views in between drives to each of the locations, with Sally and Guido dropping knowledge left right and centre throughout the entire experience as we learnt the history of the largest olive tree in Europe, how olive oil is extracted at the press, to how olives are harvested. And the snacks at the end were to die for.We can't recommend the experience enough.
