We have arrived to Tuscany on 2nd of June, and my son had a cold which got significantly worse. We already spoke to our GP in the UK who put my son's symptoms down to common cold/ virus and said we should give him Calpol. As my son was not getting better, his nose became more runny and he started having fever, we opted to see a pediatrician in Lucca. I called DR Fossi, explained my son's symptoms. She has agreed to see him. DR has done a streptococc swab, and identified him having a bacterial infection in his throat. She checked his heart beat, listened to his chest, checked his ears- all examination was done very thoroughly. She prescribed antibiotics which we collected from the pharmacy downstairs for a small charge. DR did not charge us for examination, and accepted the European health card.I mark DR Fossi 5 out of 5 for her prompt and professional approach, I highly recommend her surgery based on our positive experience.
