Rented three carbon bikes from Jerry during our stay in Toscana. We had some logistic issues that were easily worked out with Jerry's responsive communication. Our location was fairly remote and cell service was sketchy but Jerry used several ways to contact us when necessary.The bikes were a mix of models and brands and while not totally high end they were quite nice and well maintained. The drop off and pick was a luxury, but trying to find rental bikes on previous visits was a really pain. Jerry's delivery was exactly what we needed. He delivered spare tubes, a simple pedal wrench, a floor pump and small hand pump. We had no mechanical issues and the bikes were fine. I recommend this service!

The guys at Veloce were great!!Went out of their way to help. I arrived in Naples on a Sunday morning - and all my luggage was lost. Without missing a beat, Mario offered to find a local bike store in Naples - and went there to buy me biking shorts, jersey and socks - before showing up at my doorstep - at exactly the right time - with a bicycle which was the perfect size for me.Would highly recommend their services for anyone who wants to bike in Italy, but doesn't want to bring own bike with them.

I was very happy with the service provided by Rental Bike Italy. I appreciated the flexibility / tailor made way of working: I could get my bike on the right time on the right place (Venice airport) and could bring it back five days later. Perfect!The equipment was just what I needed for this trip: a robust tracking bike / MTB, with luggage carrier and bags for my luggage, and everything else I needed for a five days trip in the area, including some climbing in the mountains.Prices are high compared to the prices for bike rental in the Netherlands - but in terms of value for money it was OK. I can recommend this to everyone interested in cycling in Italy.

If you find yourself in Naples and fancy a challenge then I highly recommend you do the Veloce Ride on Mt Vesuvius. This iconic volcano, still active towers above the Neapolitan skyline just begs to be ridden.Jerry arranged a guide for us, Claudio, who spoke excellent English and was able to tell us facts about the mountain during the trip. We met early in the morning at a shop in Naples and were met my Jerry's regional contact Mario who transported us out of Naples.Be under no illusion it's a hard ride up the mountain but you are greeted with stunning views over Naples and the bay. Despite the heat, most of the journey up the volcano is shaded by trees. It took just over two hours to complete the climb to the carpark where we left the bikes with Claudio and finished the last km to the crater on foot.The return is the fun part. Riding off road through the lava flows and forests that cloak the volcano ending through some of the small towns and vineyards.This is a great trip. It's a great challenge to complete and you'll have a fun day. Also, think of the pizza and beer you earn with all the calories burned.(We took our own bikes but a guy with us had a really nice looking Giant loaned to him)

Unique experience riding in Italy. I've rented twice from Veloce and the logistics are the best part. One does not have to worry about transporting a bike, just riding a bike. Jerry is very flexible and is respondent to customer's needs. I've participated in two granfondos on Jerry's bikes and have not had any problems. Excellent service and reliable road bikes.

I already rented bicycles from Veloce twice. The first time in the south of Apulia region to keep me in training during my holidays. The second time instead I made a traveling bike trip in the Veneto region, one way, delivered and picked up in the hotels by appointment. The bicycles have always been new and well maintained, the delivery was timely as I was guaranteed in the quotation phase. Easy payment procedure. The service has always been provided according to my expectations. I suggest it if you are looking for a quality bike rental service that makes your holiday easier.

We had excellent service from Jerry at Veloce. We hired 2 carbon bikes for the weekend and to ride in the Prosecco Cycling sportive (62 miles & 6000ft elevation). Jerry delivered our bikes to our Villa at the prearranged time and undertook a good bike fit (including changing stems / adjusting handlebars / seats, etc). The bikes were just as requested and good quality. They came supplied with spare tubes, pumps, levers, mini tool, etc, etc. Veloce helped ensure we had a fab weekend in Valdobbidene and I would certainly recommend Veloce.

Stay clear!! We booked 7 bikes for a two family 7-days bike trip in Italy. No Jerry or no bikes turned up as agreed at Malpensa, and when I eventually got in contact he excused that the bikes were in Sardinia. Promises were made to deliver next day. After numerous phone calls (he didn`t answer) no bikes came the next day either. We had to find a local dealer and eventually got on our bike tour. Only a small portion of the paid fee has been returned.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry to plan a 1 day fully supported ride up Passo Stelvio for myself and a group of friends along with bike rack rentals for a two week stay in Europe. Jerry was easy to work with and always quick to respond to inquiries. He went out of his way to help us at the airport when two of our bikes needed repairs after arrival in Italy (from the US) which was invaluable and we would have been lost without.When it came time for our one day adventure to the top of Stelvio, Jerry made sure all the logistics we handled and was flexible as to our needs for where we started. Both he, his brother Vincent, and our cycling guide Paolo were in great spirits and super helpful all day providing food, liquids, much needed encouragement and guidance, laughter and of course lots of fantastic photographs. Their support didn't end until we arrived back at our cars.Grazie Jerry, Vincent and Paolo for a day we will remember for a long time to come. Ciao a tutti. Il 1. Maggio ho partecipato a un giro sul Vesuvio. È stato ben organizzato da Jerry. Tutta l’organizzazione è stata perfetta. Ci siamo incontrati a Napoli la mattina alle 08:00 h, puntuale. Mi hanno dato una bici della ottima larghezza per me, ci hanno portato in macchina alla base del Vesuvio. Un’ora dopo siamo già stati in giro. Eravamo in 4. C’era una guida bravissima, chi ha spiegato tante cose interessantissime del vulcano e della natura circondando. Bravo Claudio, grazie! Sei un’ottima guida. Siamo ritornati a Napoli alle 16:00 h, stanchi ma contentissimi. Un giorno indimenticabile. Raccomando fortissimo la Veloce Bike!Michael
