Carpe Diem Boat Tour Cinque Terre

My wife and I made a booking through our Airbnb hosts with Carpe Diem Boat Tour while staying at Cinque Terre. Niccolo kindly connected with us over WhatsApp and provided all the details of the tour, how to get to the meeting spot, and even gave us instructions to meet the driver to take us to the dock. The driver was his dad, who was really sweet! After getting to the dock, the father walked us to the boat, a really nice, brand new boat. We met Niccolo and took off to tour Porto Venere, Lerici, Tellaro, and La Spezia. I was very happy that we did the tour outside of the main 5 towns that everyone goes to. We were able to explore more from a beautiful boat. The scenery was so amazing, and he gave us some history on all the places we went to. What made the experience even better was that it was just me and my wife. We received a private experience, with wine, and Nicco also dropped us off for an hour to grab lunch. He was a gentleman, and we genuinely had an amazing time. We highly recommend this tour as it’s much more relaxed and intimate vs. some of the bigger excursions.

Very nice boat tour, with very nice and friendly captain Alberto. Plenty of beverages including local wine and stop for snorkelling. Alberto was very knowledgeable about the area, history and environment. Top to everything off, our kid got to drive the boat! Highly recommended. Family Glavind

This is the best boat tour in 5terre. Run by the family. They produce their own wine that you get to try during the sunset. Highly recommended.

Our private boat trip was amazing! It was very reasonable for the amount of time we spent on the boat, and how lovely our boat was. We were quoted much more by other companies for a shorter length of time. The sea was a little rough so our skipper ensured our safety at all times by keeping to harbours. We had a fantastic day. Thank you yet again!

Fantastic lunch in front of Portovenere andamazing experience onboard Caligo!Yesterday we rented a boat from Carpe Diem Cinque Terre. The staff took us around the Gulf of La Spezia showing us the best sights. Nico and Angelica were super friendly and took really good care of us.We met at Porto Mirabello around 12pm, Nico was already there preparing the boat and Angelica joined us right after with food and beverages. A quick briefing followed and then we left.Nico showed us the little villages along the coast (Marola, Cadmiare Fezzano…) and told us a few stories of the people living there (his English was excellent!).Later we found a nice spot near Palmaria (the island right in front of Portovere) to stop for a while and we had lunch. While Angelica was preparing the food, Nico made us a couple of Aperol Spritz and told us about Palmaria, Portovenere and Cinque Terre (he lives there). In 10 minutes the food was ready. Angelica set the table impeccably: there was focaccia, pizza, salami and cheese, torta di verdure… Everything was delicious! After lunch we had coffee in Portovenere and we enjoyed a quick tour of the city (it was quick because unfortunately the weather was a little bit cold and windy). Then around 4pm we headed back to Porto Mirabello.It was a great day!Nico and Angelica were both very professional and kind.Looking forward to being back onboard and enjoy a tour of Cinque Terre!

One of the best experiences of my life. Great tour. Amazing views. The boat is very comfortable and modern. Angelica and Niccolò are very friendly wonderful people. Professional service and very tasty local food. Lovely, casual atmosphere. Worth it!!!!
