Must try the fritto misto while in Venice! This spot it great for a quick and tasty takeaway. There is only one table available if you did want to sit and eat. Would come back here again anytime.

Delicious fritti e mare (mixed fried seafood). I think it could be a bit saltier. The batter for the mixed veggies wasn't the greatest.Service was also quite slow, waited 20 mins for our order and no one else was there. Could have been that they weren't ready yet as it was kinda early (1045am), although it says they're open at 930...

So I researched food to try in Venezia and fritto misto is one of them. Further search shows that Frito Inn is an excellent place to get fritto misto.I went early, about 15 minutes after they opened so there was no line. I ordered the fritto misto di pesce, which is the mixed fried fish with calamari, shrimp, and small fish. Everything is cooked fresh to order but fairly quickly. It all was hot and crispy, seasoned perfectly and not at all greasy. I paired it with some hot sauce and mayo.The portions were a good size and the prices were fair. I would recommend Frito-Inn to anyone visiting Venice for a good meal.

Found this place on Google Maps since my gf was craving some fried fish on the go. The service was good enough but I can’t say the same about the food.The calamari and the fries were alright but tempura shrimp was definitely a mistake. Its basically frozen shrimp covered in beer batter and definitely not how it looks on the menu pics.Moreover, the person behind the counter only gave us a packet of ketchup for sauce, and definitely no fresh lemon slices which is what we’re used to seeing when it comes to fried fish in a cone in Italy.Long story short, try the potatoes and the calamari if you’re famished but otherwise look for other options.

We had high expectations of this place somehow. Probably it was because we visited in evening the seafood didnt taste fresh and oil used to fry seemed to be used many times which gave the fish bad tasteI had better mixed fried sea food at other places in VeniceGuys at the place seemed nice

We've tried it based on other reviews but if you know how the real fried calamari/gambari tastes like then you will understand when I say that I don't recommend this even if you are hungry. I gave it a two stars only because of the atmosphere outside. Disappointed but again your palate might be different than mine but I trust mine more than yours ;)

Tappa obbligata, sempre. Per un cartoccio di fritto misto di pesce (8 euro), per la mozzarella in carrozza con alici (o salmone o baccalà) a 3 euro (è gigantesca), ma anche per le patatine fritte. Tutto da asporto e fatto al momento. Nell'attesa, ci si gode campo San Leonardo, con le bancarelle di frutta e verdura.

Great little inexpensive place for a venetian traditional fish dish. Limited to seafood but all fresh fried and made to order. Little walk away from Ferrovia Station.

April 9 2023 I tried the mixed fried fish for $8.50. It had small fish, shrimp, calamari and was super good! Shrimp had shell but because it was fried, I can eat the shell.

We ordered the mix fish dish, but did not actually liked the small fried fishes it had. I only enjoyed the calamari and gamberi. For a next ocassion I would ordee only calamari and gamberi.
