Indie Campers Florence - Pick-up Center

Wij hadden een heel positieve ervaring met Hamid. Hij was erg behulpzaam en bijzonder vriendelijk!!

Deixa muito a desejar , apesar de estarem agora no início , faltava uma peça para a bilha de gás, tive que comprar eu,fiquei sem addblue na caravana, tive que comprar eu, ficando acordado receber o dinheiro de volta,na entrega da caravana o senhor não estava presente e não recebi dinheiro nenhum de volta...foi pago tudo do meu bolso e ainda nos foi retirado cerca de 90€ a mais sem razão nenhuma aparente no check in, que só reparei no fim...

To be clear, Hamid, the Indie Campers representative is excellent. Very helpful and doing the best he can do given the facilities available to him.The reasons I’m only giving 3 stars is the location of the site and the facilities there. The site is not easy to get to / from the airport. Approx 1 hour by train or 30 mins by taxi, if you can get one. We had to wait 45 mins for a taxi to take us to airport. No Ubers in the area. The site has zero facilities, toilets etc. Not even a place to wait, not even shade from the sun. Indie Campers really need to improve the facilities and would suggest they offer a shuttle service to / from the airport or city (perhaps bookable at the time of reservation).

This is the worst company i have ever experienced. Due to their irresponsibility and poor planning we could not get the van we booked. We booked VW grand , and upon our arrival to their office we were told that the van we booked is not available due to mechanical breakdown. We called customer service they were reluctant to help just saying we will get back to you"

Voor de eerste keer op pad met een camper en het werd een succes. Zeer vriendelijk en correct personeel. De camper zelf was voor ons 2tjes prima. Enkel de matras van het bed was behoorlijk hard maar slapen op een plek die je zelf kan uitkiezen maakte veel goed. Dus dank u Indie Camper. Het was een zeer fijne vakantie!

Esperienza Negativa.La vacanza in camper la consiglio a tutti, i camper sono all'avanguardia e in genere tutti nuovi. Il resto è pessimo.1) Nella sede di Firenze, nessuno parla bene l'italiano (sembra impossibile ma è così) solo inglese e non sempre perfetto.2) la pulizia è un optional, non inteso che si paga, ma bensì che il primo giorno di noleggio lo passi a ripulire tutto (sempre che non voglia passare la vacanza nello sporco)3) il servizio clienti è una roba scandalosa (solo whatsapp, con personale che non ha la benché minima idea di come sia fatto un camper o di quali problemi possa avere. Loro ti rispondono con link preimpostati dove tu ti devi cercare da solo, la risoluzione del problema, sempre che ci sia nel video). Ovviamente le risposte che ricevi sono tutte tradotte nella tua lingua, attraverso Google translate, percui vanno anche interpretate).4) kit cucina ancora bagnato da un tentato lavaggio precedente ( mal riuscito, consegnato con forchette e cucchiai ancora sporchi). Kit coperte e cuscini consegnati ancora bagnato dalla lavatrice. Imbarazzante.Nel complesso la vacanza è stata bellissima e la rifaremo sicuro, ma non con loro e sconsiglio a tutti di prendere camper da loro. 1450€ di noleggio per una settimana (con vari extra es km illimitati, kit essenziale,ecc).Ora il camper apparte la pulizia era ottimo, ma ripeto che a questa cifra di noleggio ci si aspetta ben altro trattamento. FORTEMENTE SCONSIGLIATO.

Had a positive experience with Indie Campers. We rented a VW California for 2 weeks, and picked it up in Florence. The pickup location was a bit unclear at the beginning, but it is easily accessible by going to Signa train station and walking from there. Very friendly and helpful employees. We didn't get a child seat for our car, due to logistical issues, but we were reimbursed to purchase one.I had my doubts too when renting from Indie Campers, but they exceeded expectations. Note that support is through chat only, keep that in mind when booking with them.
