Casa Letizia Apartments

My husband made a reservation approximately two months before our scheduled stay. Letizia & my husband exchanged a couple of emails & Letizia seemed anxious for us to arrive. About 17 days before our scheduled arrival our credit card number was stolen and apparently Letizia swiped our card at approximately the same time. We immediately contacted her with our new credit card number, explaining what had occurred, but she had already booked the room to someone else. We had a terrible time finding another place to stay and had to settle for a less than comfortable location on the 4th floor with no elevator.I feel that Letizia should have contacted us especially since it was more than two weeks before our scheduled arrival. That would have been a courteous & professional way to approach the situation. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Casa Letizia, nor would we stay there on a future trip to Bologna.

Letizia is a great host! Her apartments are located in the most central spot of the city, spotless clean, fully equipped with an Italian touch! I've been four times to Bologna and stayed in both apartments and can literally say that it felt like home. Thank you Letizia for the warm hospitality!!

Perfect location. Letizia is the best. Recommend staying at casa letizia when in Bologna.

Let's start with our arrival. We walk into the apartment, which is perfectly clean and welcoming. Our hostess asks if we wouldn't mind leaving and return in an hour or so so that she can clean the apartment! I tried to explain that it was, quite literally, spotless, but I was unable to convince her, so we left. She was such a nice person, and told us a bit about herself and her apartment. There was a book on the table, Déjà view: Bologna

Fantastic location, and an exquisitely appointed apartment! Definitely a must-stay location in Bologna!
