I happened by this lovely paper shop and noticed some beautiful things in the window. I am so glad I did, because it ended up being my favorite shopping find in Venice. The proprietor of the shop has been making traditional marble prints and gorgeous block prints for more than 40 years, and everything is just perfect. I walked out with a print suitable for framing for myself and a journal with a handmade block printed cover and 100% cotton Amalfi paper as a gift for a colleague.Venice is not as well known for stationary as Florence, but this quaint shop run is far better than the many stores I visited in Florence. A gift from this place is elegant and understated- skip the garish Murano glass and mass produced masks and pick up some gifts here, instead.

Really amazing shop and well worth a visit. A great range of products all hand made using different techniques and the owner kindly threw in a couple of bookmarks.
