Asian Halal food

Great place for take out Indian and Halal food plus American dishes on the menu. Close to attractions and street peddlers selling leather goods. Few seats to eat in but nothing fancy. Reasonable prices and decent portion sizes. I had Tandoori Chicken $6(euros) which came with nan and salad.

As with most halal places in Italy, they serve kebabs, wraps and the likes.However, I had the biryani here and it was superb: The rice was already tasty by itself, but eaten with the meats (I had beef and lamb) and gravy, it was an explosion of flavours in the mouth. The meats were so tender and braised to the fullest flavour. Not to mention the huge portions. Honestly, big value for money. Lovely, jovial lads that run this place, too. I wish I had it one more time before we left Florence.Located along a stretch of road where you can find other halal eateries and shops as well. For anyone looking for halal eats in Tuscany, definitely check out this hole-in-the-wall.
