Blu Salento

At first everything seems ok, very friendly people, showed me the boat before signing the contract. Obviously the contract was/is in italian. One important paragraph was translated (on an extrasheet) in english. The office woman explained everything for me, especially that gasoline is included in the price. After signing we started our trip (4hrs); after 10 minutes everything stank of gasoline (obviously some small leakage), furthermore the steering was not in balance, meaning there was a permanent hefty drift to the left. When we returned our boot some guy from the company got on board an drove with us to the fuel station, where the boat was filled up with gas for exactly 50 (!!) Euros…. and told me i have to pay it. I told him that gas is included, he said no. I paid, walked to the office, asked the lady, her answer: no, she has never said that.. so make up your own decision about this and don‘t be sofoolish like me..

Stay away from these rip-offs!!They told us that the gas will be inclusive. After we arrived at the harbour, we had to pay extra 50€ for the gas, they said they couldn‘t remember telling us and used the language barrier as an excuse.So if you want to waste money, this is the best option you have.

Stamattina ho voluto fare un giro in barca a Santa Maria di Leucacoi miei amici. Ho scelto tra le varie opzioni la società Blusalento e sono molto contento della mia esperienza. Ho avuto dalla titolare, signora Alessandra Morciano una spiegazione molto dettagliata di tutte le condizioni contrattuali. Tra l'altro ho notato che la stessa attenzione all'elencazione di tutte le condizioni si riscontra anche nella traduzione nelle altre lingue, il francese, l'inglese ecc... Quindi ci tengo a consigliare vivamente la locazione dalla Blusalento Leuca. Soddisfattissimo e consigliatissimo. Un'esperienza da provare assolutamente.Francesco A.

Con Blu Salento abbiamo trascorso una giornata straordinaria. Capitanata da Danilo, la barca ci ha portato in mari di un azzurro indicibile. Simpatia, storia, arte, natura e coraggio erano tutti ingredienti a bordo! Un'esperienza da provare e riprovare... Alla prossima!
