Great location but we forewent a regular visit for the equally prime spot down the way that had high chairs. Cafe varenna however boasts a prime drinks menu and an extensive bruschetta offering which I thoroughly enjoyed (though the service is quite slow)

Very good food, and very friendly staff. We have eaten pasta and bruschetta, with 2 aperol spiritz and paid only 30 euros. Beautiful view is a plus.

We got lucky with seating , otherwise this place will always have a wait because it simply has an amazing view !! The waitress was extremely nice and efficient. They also have a few sandwiches options and my daughter loved her ham and cheese. There is no indoor seating only small table for waiting for your table to come available, they do have a bathroom . I would come here in off hours to try and get a seat because this place stays packed . Amazing view and sweet waitress! Would definitely come back again .

Tutte le volte che vado a Varenna (almeno una volta al mese) con la mia compagna ci fermiamo a bere un aperitivo in questo posto, che ci viene fornito sempre con degli stuzzichini sfiziosi, chiediamo sempre un tavolino in prima fila e la vista sul lago da questa piccola e intima piazzetta è stupenda specie durante il tramonto

This place is absolutely stunning on the water. Great to people watch and spend your day sipping on some aperol spritz. The food is fabulous! Much more affordable than the neighboring fancy white table cloth Osteria. The pasta is to die for! 100% recommend this over any other place in Varenna. We took the ferry again the next day from bellagio to come sit on the patio.

One great spot for a relaxing breakfast with a view of the lake. You must try their croissants. They have an extensive breakfast menu and can make a make shift breakfast if you want changes and additions. Try their hot chocolate and their Brie, apricot jam and caramelised onion bruschetta.

Vue imprenable sur le lac. Cuisine simple mais savoureuse. Une belle carte au niveau des boissons. Un très chouette moment pour le lunch (mais patience pour avoir une place, comme dans toutes les bonnes adresses de Varenna).

Absolutely amazing food, gorgeous view, reasonable prices and extremely kind and helpful staff. If you’re in Varenna I would 100% make sure you check this place out, even if it’s just for coffee!
