Great free parking for a beautiful hike. If you don't want to hike back up, a jeep service will drive you back up and give you a ride back here to your car for 15 euro/person. The jeep service is slower than expected, only do it to save effort, not time.

Good start point for the gorropu hiking. Very well marked trail. You need to across the road from the parking lot to start. There is a small bar for refuelling yourself before and after your hiking!

Free car park just of the famous SS125 Road, used for the start of the hike down to Gorrupu canyon. We were there early October and it was pretty much empty in the morning, however the car park is a lot smaller than you might expect for such a popular area and the track leading to it plus the car park itself is rough gravel and rocks, worth bearing in mind. There is a nearby cafe which has toilets too.

Großer kostenlosen Parkplatz und guter Startpunkt. Um 9 Uhr war der Parkplatz noch komplett leer. Nachmittags um 13 Uhr hingehen schon komplett voll.

Punto di partenza verso il canyon Gorropu. Da qui parte il sentiero panoramico, bello quanto la visita alla gola stessa. Si può parcheggiare gratuitamente davanti alla casa cantoniera. Per chi vuole alloggiare in zona c'è l'hotel Gorropu e l'area sosta camper a poche centinaia di metri.

Place, where you can park your car and have a cup of coffee before hiking down to Gola su Gorropu. Parking is for free, at least so it was in June 2019. Trail to gorge starts just few meters away. According to many people, this starting point for hike to Gorropu is the best- nice views on the way, not too long (it's different distance in some sources, some say 4 km, some say more. My GPS recorded 5km), and not too hard for untrained person.
