La Rumba

The room was perfect for two, the staff were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. The communication before arrival was brilliant. We were sent door codes and WiFi codes as our plane landed and messaged when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. There were many shops and public transport options very close by. And a public beach within a two minute walk. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not bother, we stayed at La Rumba (or should I say La Rumble!) for two weeks. We had problems from the start getting into our room. The code that we received was not correct. The service was appalling; no change of bedsheets after a week, so we had to ask and was told that service was extra. They eventually gave us clean sheets for us to put on the bed. It took three days to repair the light in the bathroom and when they repaired it they left wires hanging out of a fitting. The room has borrowed light, without curtains, from the communal area, so every time another guest arrives or departs at night the light goes on and illuminates the entire room (like Blackpool illuminations!), which woke us up everytime. Phot attached. The other window does not open. The WiFi was not working- apparently a fault that could not been fixed. And, not to mention the noisy local neighbours who seemed to party or argue every night until gone midnight! Not to mention the local elephants above stampeding every night until very late.Lastly, it says breakfast in the restaurant - well, surprise surprise, there isn't one!They insist on communicating via WhatsApp and demand the Tourist Tax, which you have to pay in addition to the room.Don't book this place.
