Easily the best food we had in Venice. It wasn’t just ‘typical Venetian’ or ‘typical home cooking’.It was however good local ingredients and cooked with refined skill and thoughts given to the menu and food.The octopus was so flavourful and tender it was to die for. The beef cheek I had was equally tender and incredibly well balanced.The antipasti of a local cheese and palm of artichoke was the first dish in Venice that made me go wow.Service was also helpful, friendly and personal. A must go imo.

Picture perfect dining experience. Before food, the service: Our server had worked in the kitchen so he described the preparation with convincing precision.Food: We chose our dishes (each was shared) and asked our server to recommend wine. The pasta with duck ragu + orange zest was the most interesting to us--all dishes were excellent, but the orange zest on a pasta dish was so unexpected and wonderful. Our server's recommendation of a particular red wine (hint of raspberry??) paired perfectly with the beef cheek's wine-reduction sauce. This was our favorite dining experience in Venice.

Everything was excellent. I was really impressed by how naturally hospitable the stuff was. They provided excellent service without being too formal. I even received a mascarpone as a gift from them.And the food was delicious, the portions were a perfect size, not too big, not too small. Loved the place!! ♥️

One of my most memorable meals & the best restaurant while on vacation in Venice. I wish I could take it home with me! Shout out to Alex who helped us with the best wine pairings with each dish. The artichoke hearts with goat cheese & the beef cheeks were ::chefs kiss:: You must also save room for dessert. The ambiance was perfection, the staff were hospitable, and the food was delectable.

It’s hard to rank meals during a long trip to Italy, but this was one of our favorites! Our table ordered the gazpacho (light and amazing flavor) and goat cheese and artichoke (a true winner, spectacular dish). For entrees we got the seafood ravioli, ricotta and spinach ravioli, and beef cheek. All 3 were outstanding. We indulged for dinner and got cheesecake, which nearly stole the show! The best I’ve ever had. Wonderful service, great ambiance, an outstanding restaurant!

First of all, it is really nice and simply decorated restaurant. Waiters are super friendly and helpful. They ask your opinion whether everything is ok or not all the time. Calamar and artichoke dishes were perfect as they seem in the pictures. But the star dish of the evening is absolutely beef chick. No comment, awesome. Deserts are not bad but also not as well as the starters and main dishes. Strongly recommended restaurant!

We visited this restaurant on our first evening in Venice and it was such a delight. We had the mussels, octopus, duck ragu, and slow cooked beef cheek and every dish was magnificent. We had the pleasure of the manager serving us who explained each dish which only further enhanced the experience. The space itself is intimate and tastefully decorated and located in a quieter part of the city which was pleasant. Recommend you make reservations in advance as the restaurant has limited seating.

There wasn't a big variety of food on the menu, but you'll surely find something to your liking. It was delicious! The food was very very good! Comparatively small portions but still enough to end up full. The service was excellent, everything was served quickly und the staff was friendly. We definitely recommend this place!(The creamy cheesecake is pure perfection! So awesome!)
