Luca gave us an exceptional day tour of Rome. We rode in style in his immaculate SUV. We saw many sights and had a delightful lunch. My wife and I visited Rome for the first time and only had one day coming from the port of Civitavecchia.Cris was our tour guide and did amazing!!! He had our tickets with him so all we had to do was be on time. With his guidance on how to structure our day we were able to see: the Fountain Trevi, the Colosseum & did a private tour of the Vatican.Patricia was our guide for the Vatican and did a wonderful job showing the main areas everyone wants to see when they visit. I highly recommend the private tour to get the most of the experience and some perks with skipping lines etc. Cris and Patricia were both passionate about showing us Rome & the Vatican and we will have a lifetime of memories thanks to their guidance. I highly recommend Rome Private Excursions. Our group of 6 had an awesome experience. Luca and Natalie were both great at communicating answers to my questions prior to the trip even with the time difference between the USA they communicated very well with both emails and text messages. Our family did a DCL cruise to the Mediterranean this July. We had stops in Livorno, Naples and Rome. None of the DCL excursions interested us and were also very expensive. We used Rome Private Excursions for our trips in each of these ports. The drivers met us right at the pier and got us back to the ship in plenty of time. We had Manuel in Livorno, who took us to two lovely wineries in the Tuscany area, including one with a 3-course luncheon with wines. Marco took us all over the Amalfai Coast (definitely use a driver; scary road!) and to a place with wonderful Naples pizza. Angelo, our driver in Rome, was so knowledgeable and educational! He knew so much of the history and willingly shared this information with us. He also recommended a wonderful authentic restaurant with a pre fixe menu/cost. A carafe of wine cost only 5 euros! :) I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting a private tour, either on land or as a shore excursion from a cruise. They were friendly, professional, safe, knowledgeable, and informative!

Loved this trip so much! I’ve been to Rome & Tuscany before but never experienced it quite like this. Wine tastings, cooking classes, spa time & touring - oh my! Having knowledgeable experienced driver/guides makes such a difference in the overall experience! I never felt rushed & the time allotted for each location worked out beautifully. A real testament to Luca is that all of his amazing guides & driver/guides are as fun, knowledgeable & experienced as he & they all love Italy & love to share their passion for her with every visitor. Highly recommend!!
