Etna Tours Taormina by Sicily Legend

Probably the best guided tour of our life! From the beginning we were joking around, but also it was really informative and well organised. It’s a must if you are here. Thank you again for this amazing experience!!

We really enjoyed our Etna tour with Rosario. He's super nice and fun, and excellent guide. It felt like a private tour as there were only four of us + the guide. The walk on Etna was interesting and very informative. We booked last minute and were lucky to get two spots but I'd advise anyone to book in advance to be sure (especially if you're in Taormina just for a couple of days.) Highly recommended!

Marcello great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Lucky to do the tour as weather changeable recently. Sunny in Taormina but cloud and mist on Etna, could not see the top of volcano but had good walk around lateral crater and into lava cave. Excellent communication re booking etc with Rosario, comfortable and efficient transport, 6 in group + guide. Recommended

Our guide was exceptional! We had such a beautiful day. Shared with a small family, Rosario communicated in Italian and English. He shared history and geology of the region. It was like spending a day with friends. Laughter. Relaxation and excellent photos to remember the day. He shared personal recommendations for food and beach the following days. We were blown away by his warmth generosity and knowledge. Very impressed. Could not recommend more highly!

The tour was fantastic . Something you can not get with a big group. Especially the tour guide Marcello . He knows the area and the history. So every question finds an answer.With the hart on the right place and some great humor in any language.Marcello will bound you on Etna and its lava and history of the great island of sicily . Superb tours from Rosario and Gianfranco. We joined them for the Godfather tour and the Mount Etna tour and both were excellent.The level of knowledge and information was outstanding, we were incredibly well looked after and had lots of fun.We would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone staying in the Taormina area.

I took my parents on this trip for my mums 70th birthday, and it surpassed all our expectations! Rosario our guide was superb, he was so knowledgeable and made the trip interesting and exciting. He took us to the best spots for the weather and time of day, we were even late back as he took us somewhere to see the lava at night. l couldn't recommend this trip enough! Well worth the little extra money for a private tour of Etna :)

Siamo abituati a camminare in montagna in autonomia, ma questa visita va fatta con la guida e non da soli. Consiglio l'organizzazione di Sicily Legend. La nostra guida è venuta a prenderci alle 9 direttamente nella nostrastruttura e da qui è iniziata una piena giornata di visita in un clima spensierato e allegro. Eravamo in 6 con 4 ragazzi inglesi, ma la guida con molta semplicità ha continuamente parlato in entrambe le lingue senza tralasciare nulla né agli inglesi né agli italiani. Siamo partiti da Taormina con un comodo 4x4 e ci siamo diretti al monte Etna passando prima per Zafferana Etnea. Abbiamo iniziato la salita del vulcano fermandoci gradualmente per ammirare ogni dettaglio fino ad arrivare ad un tranquillo trekking sui crateri silvestri. La guida ha sempre raccontato ogni particolare delle eruzioni che si sono avvicendate negli anni con competenza e con semplicità. Grazie per la bella giornata.
