This coffee roastery transports you to simpler times. As authentic as it gets, there's a few different grades of coffee, all listed in terms of price per 100g or etto (pronounced eh-toh). We buy the same every 3 weeks, 1kg of miscela famiglia, ground for French Press (setting of 22 for this business's particular bur grinder). You won't get smiles and a protracted welcome, instead you'll get very high quality coffee at a very reasonable price.

Ein versteckter Schatz in der Seitengasse. Eine kleine Kaffeerösterei deren Öffnungszeiten leider unbekannt sind.Wir hatten das Glück, das an unserem letzten Tag die Tür offen war. Eine nette Begrüßung darf man hier nicht erwarten, sich davon aber auch nicht abschrecken lassen. Das haben alle Kaffeeröster irgendwie gemein.Wir wollten etwas mehr Kaffee als üblich kaufen ( 7 kg), was hier nicht oft vorkommt. Nach etwas hin und her, vielleicht auch wegen unterschiedlicher Sprachen, ging die Kommunikation mit Händen und Füßen und es war kein Problem.Hier wird sehr genau und gewissenhaft gearbeitet.Am Ende haben wir dann doch noch ein Lächeln bekommen.Ich kann den kleinen Laden nur empfehlen.
