Honestly it seems loads of these terrible reviews are written by tourists that have never travelled outside of their own country and especially not to Italy. It is completely normal to pay a table service charge, in Italian the term is coperto and it is charged per person. I’m glad me and my friends walked by and decided to go in without reading reviews first because we loved it here! The wait staff seated us immediately, our drinks came out super fast, our piadinas (and drinks) were delicious, and there was no surprise mysterious doubling of prices. We paid exactly what prices are listed in the menu plus the table charge for each person. Very lovely afternoon at this place! I even pinned it in my map so I come back again if I’m in the area. Please don’t leave bad ratings for places based on your own cultural expectations of how service and prices should work.

Scortesia che accompagna prezzi esosi, anzi da ladri!!! Approfittano della posizione e batostano, anche se molto curato l allestimento e offrono buoni prodotti, fettina di crostata 7 euro...e i poveri marciscono sui marciapiedi circostanti..che pessimo esempio...maritozzo piccolo 5 euro..me così via cappuccino 4 ...non è etico!

As a Roman, I would have never thought this café/restaurant for tourists was this good. I imagined it was sort of a tourist trap. But today some family members came to visit from abroad. We were in a hurry and needed to eat something quickly after getting out of St Peter's basilica and catching a bus.So we ended up here. The service was friendly. It was as fast as we needed. And most importantly the food was very good!

Horrible service and cleanliness. Went inside after visiting Vatican for a quick bite with kids. Asked for Beer and Wine and even after 20 minutes, nothing showed up. Waiter couldn’t be bothered as he wouldn’t even acknowledge us. When I talked to another waiter, we got our beer and wine. Restroom downstairs is filthy and doesn’t even have soap. I wonder where the staff cleans their hands. Never going there again.

we went to this place as it looked quite nice from the outside, but it was a terrible mistake. the dark-hair waiter was very rude and arrogant, making the whole experience worse. he seemed to be annoyed with everyone and everything, should consider a different job. The food and coffee were okay, but you can get much better at better price. the whole place tries to give luxury vibes, but their toilets and bathroom are the same as at the main train station-disgusting. definitely wouldn’t come back!

Food was average and service is terrible the manager -I guess- ( blond with black glasses) has a terrible attitude and it’s super rude, she is glaring at us while we order, she see us pay and then before we can leave she demands to see our receipt before we can go ) even thought cashier already said we paid for what we ordered / I would NOT recommend. Also worst croissant I ever had in Italy

We stopped here for a lovely aperol spritz and pizza after our tour of the Vatican and it was one of our best experiences in Rome. Disappointed to see that the reviews for this place were so low.
