Eden Mozzarella di Bufala

YOU MUST GO HERE. This family business has THE BEST mozzarella and ham in Napoli. You can also buy cheese, pasta, wine, limoncello, meloncello, which are all amazing. This place was so good I felt a moral obligation to add it to google maps.

We feel ripped off. We stopped by to get 500g of mozzarrella di buffala and 200g of ham/salami. The guy seemed nice and friendly even though communication was hard. We were surprised when we were about to pay, the total was €19. We didn’t eat there. Everything was packed for takeaway. I guess we’re a bit at fault for not discussing pricing before buying but didn’t expect it to be that much. I think €19 for half a kg of mozzarella and 200g of ham is a lot. It wasn’t even that good - everything was too salty! We later saw in other salumerias 1kg of mozarella di buffala was only €10-12 and the same ham was €1-3 for 100g. We feel deceived. After that, we never bought from a salumeria anymore ‘cos we were afraid to be ripped off again.
