Essenza Wine Bar Trastevere
Cute little spot for a lighter dinner. We got the mixed cheese & cured meat plate, the mixed bruschetta, and the mixed finger foods as our mains along with a bottle of wine. We ended the meal with the classic tiramisu. The waiter gave us free limoncello shots to end the evening. Everything was tasty, especially the truffle finger food and the truffle with lard bruschetta. The atmosphere was cozy.

Ero con la mia ragazza per una passeggiata a Trastevere e con the fork abbiamo visto questo locale con uno sconto del 20 per cento disponibile, lo abbiamo provato e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Locale carino all'interno con una saletta arredata con gusto. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi misti (incluso prosciutto Patanegra) e un mix di bruschette gourmet di vario tipo più due calici di primitivo. Qualità alta e prezzo giusto per il posto dove eravamo. Proprietario gentile ci ha offerto un amaro del Capo al peperoncino al momento di pagare. Gesto apprezzato. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Best place for a lighter bite or dinner. We got the mixed cheese and cured meat plate. It came with four types of cheeses and several varieties of cured meat. One pairing is shaved dark chocolate on Gorgonzola cheese. Some eggplant bread bites and fresh melon. (30€) Recommend pairing with a white wine. The staff were really friendly and explained they walked through how to taste the experience.

Great wine bar to wind down at after touring all morning and finishing at the Botanical Gardens. We got the Essenza Board for 2. It did not dissapoint. Included local cheese and meats as well as amazing finger foods. Everything was well paired and had it's place on the board. If you want an authentic Italian wine bar, this is the place. Don't miss out.

Love this bar in Trastevere, great spot to either sit outside on the street or at the bar near the entrance, but it also has rooms in the back if you prefer to sit at a table. Great drinks, great prices too. Always come here when I go to Rome.

Essenza Wine Bar Trastevere
We stopped in randomly for a quick lunch and drink after visiting some sights and striking out at other spots in Trastavere! We were pleasantly surprised! Fantastic espresso martinis and apps! We got the bruschetta sampler and loved it! Also the eggplant and mozzarella app!

Essenza Wine Bar Trastevere
Scoperto per caso, locale piccolo ma molto carino. Ci ha attirato per prima cosa l'interno. Aperitivo gourmet che abbiamo provato: ricottina con tartufo e sesamo, crema di zucca e speck, mozzarellina di bufala con pesto e pomodoro secco, scaglie di grana con pera e miele e burratina con speck e noci. Personale accogliente, posto perfetto per un aperitivo romantico o con amici. Prezzi adeguati per un posto di qualità in Trastevere.
