I do not write reviews as a rule, but Rick and the Do Eat Better Experience in Rome was so outstanding that I just had to write one!Rick is not only knowledgeable about Roman food but also its history and culture. The tour was like having a close laid back friend guiding you through his city rather than a cheesy professional yet impersonal experience.This is a truly different experience which you could do at the start or the end of a visit to Rome. It does not cover the main sites but rather gives you an in depth, personal experience that you won’t/cannot forget!

We had an amazing time with Valeria on our walking food tour in Genova. She was a wealth of information about the city history, what to see, and of course the food. The food was plentiful, no skimping on this tour! We loved everything and I felt like it was ver local vs other tours we have been on. The focaccia, pasta and gelato were spectacular.

Great tour. We did visit five places in total and each one was special in it`s own way. From chickpeas to fritta misto and some very good Gelato at the end.... the tour was totally worth it.

If you visit Genoa (Genova) stay for more than a week and make sure to take this class! Valeria, our guide, was amazing, as were Chefs Memo and Marco of Locanda Tortuga. Go with an empty stomach, however, so you can eat everything you cook!

Great experience with Alice in Milan! My mother and I happened to be the only participants and Alice was welcoming, knowledgeable and patient. She even helped us pick out a culinary souvenir at the food mall and the food during the tour was delicious and plenty. My question regarding our booking was also handled quickly and we had a great time - definitely recommend!
