I got my first Deltin as a birthday present; it was probably the first time I held something 'real'- regarding swords- in my hands. His swords are balanced, made from good steel. I started collecting swords, most of them from Deltin. I was so fascinated that I decided to visit him during a motorbike trip. I expected some kind of factory with lots of workers. Fail: Fulvio Deltin does all of his work by himself. So this is a rare case of having something with a name- and can also be sure that it is done by this name.This was a long time ago, but a few weeks ago Deltin came back into my mind. Looking forward to- hopefully soon- have another of his great creations in my hands.

Fulvio è a tutti gli effetti un mito vivente dell'antico mondo delle armi bianche..La raccolta di armature, elmi, alabarde, spade, scudi ed altro di sua fabbricazione.. contenuti nel suo personale atelier, è proprio un fornitissimo museo, con una incredibile varietà di opere ed un esempio tangibile nell'antica maestria dell'arte fabbrile.. il ferro nella più elevata e nobile forma.

So i was 3years old when i met Mr Del. My father was in the army and stationed in vachinza italy. He had a norse style sword made for my brother who was 5 at the time. He also had another sword made before that in which i haf always claimed from a young age. I just recently had my father ship my sword and its still in immaculate condition as it was always a show piece. The uniqueness of it and the fact i have a sword from him is amazing. Ive wanted to go back as i am 22 now and would actually be able to talk with the amazing blacksmith. When i held the sword foe the first time in 17 years the nastolgic feeling made an internal happiness arise. Thank you Mr Del!
