We wanted to eat while doing some laundry and found this gem! Gianpiero and Andrea provided such a warm and friendly welcome, we felt at home in this cozy and air conditioned restaurant - a much needed respite from the hot and humid July weather. The bar at the front seating area creates a lively ambiance and the seafood plates were just exquisite! I started with a glass of cold white wine. We had the #9 hors d'oeuvre Mussels and Clams marinara style and the #3 first dish Gnocchi with four cheeses sprinkled with spoonfuls of grated parmesan cheese. Finally we had the #5 second course Cuttlefish with Polenta.... all the seafood was super fresh tasting, lightly flavored and delicious!!

After assuring us that they could manage to provide gluten free pasta and even a gluten free tiramisu, it was blatantly obvious that they could not in fact achieve this. This was clear when my celiac friend was struck down with a clear reaction to gluten, vomiting several times within an hour of eating at the restaurant. I am surprised to see so many positive reviews when it comes to gluten free food about this establishment, as either they fed my friend gluten or at the very least had some serious cross contamination.Also, they managed to not serve one of us our pizza until everyone else had finished their main course.

Siamo stati molto felici di aver trovato questo posto con una cucina tipica buonissima e Spritz davvero ottimi. L’ambiente del locale è accogliente e ben curato. Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza dello staff, specialmente la collega brasiliana che ci ha accolti. Sicuramente torneremmo presto per rivivere l’esperienza di questa piacevole serata e consiglieremmo l’osteria ai nostri amici.

Horrible experience in Venice, they try to take your money with basic tricks, don’t trust their discount of the fork!Here a list of things they did:- they double charged the service fee (in Italy is usually a couple of euros for them it was the 12% of the total spent)- we ordered a chicken with mushrooms (16 euros), they didn’t have the mushrooms and they gave us basic chicken that you can do at home with 0.5 euros. They still charged us full price.- we paid 4 euros a bottle of tap waterQuality of the food was also very bad: baked potatoes were cold and the vegetables were not fresh.So we paid more than 50 euros even if there was a “discount” just for a piece of chicken and some vegetables. Embarrassing!

This place is amazing, family owned business. They are so kind and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The gnocchi is only €10, and the portion is great!

Great gluten free choices and extra friendly staff. We had gf bread, gnocchi, and tiramisu along with some other typically gluten free dishes. My daughter and I don’t often get to have so many gf choices. We felt spoiled.

Ci siamo fermati a mangiare qui perché anche gluten free.Le pizze tutte surgelate,non solo quelle senza glutine.Bistecca microscopica.Servizio lento.Non lo consiglio

Ristorante buono, siamo andati tramite the fork, e con lo sconto abbiamo speso 100€ in 5 persone. Prezzo molto buono per Venezia. Personale gentile e primi buonissimi ma non consiglio la pizza

Amazing meal! Jean Pierre provided incredible service. He was attentive and his recommendations were spot on. While we have enjoyed every meal in Venice, the food here was the best we’ve had in Venice and was very reasonably priced.
