We had a great time at Backdoor 43 and I highly recommend it if you love cocktails and are looking for a more intimate, unique bar experience! It’s cozy and cool, and 2 guests felt like the perfect amount for the space. We chose to forgo the menu and just chat about what we like. My mom and I both enjoyed our cocktails. Be sure to chat with your knowledgeable and kind barman! Priced reasonably for the craft and quality of the drinks and experience as a whole. Don’t miss out - make a reservation!!!

I booked this for a girly weekend experience after my partner and I had watched re-runs of Travelman on Netflix.The whole experience was amazing, we spent the hour in the worlds smallest bar and between the three of us finished off four drinks each. All made with meticulous care and a great amount of personalisation.For our first drink while we got used to the surroundings we each went for something off of the menu map and then we started to experiment and really got to see a great mixologist at work.The hour flew by and the three of us have never had a better experience at a bar.Take away cocktails are available from the hatch from a menu, but don't expect middle of the road or run of the mill standard cocktails. His cocktails are all his own.You have to reserve the bar itself and I would fully recommend the experience!The three of us loved it!

Very cool experience here. It is the smallest bar in the world only seating 4 people max. They only take five 1-hour reservations per evening, starting at 730pm and ending at 1230am. You can also get takeaway (to go) cocktails at the window all night until 3 am.Our server Jacopo (or maybe jacob, not entirely sure with the Italian accent lol) was so friendly and you could tell he knew a lot about the cocktails. It is a totally personalized experience. I told him that I looked mezcal, not sweet and like spicy, and he made me a special martini that was very spirit forward and had a little kick to it. So good! They also have their riff of a campari that is so delicious… it’s called fusetti. I took a bottle home! Thanks for a great stop here!

Un locale noto solo ai più sgamati. Notarlo senza conoscerlo è pressoché impossibile, dato che stiamo parlando del bar più piccolo del mondo. La capienza è da 1 a max 4 persone e questo è il motivo per cui il locale necessita di una prenotazione e la permanenza è limitata a un'ora.La storia del locale viene ben presentata da chi ci lavora e se avete modo potete farvela anticipare anche dai soci del Mag Caffè (bar a fianco). Il locale ha ampia scelta sopratutto per gli amanti del whisky, ma il barman è capace di ascoltare le vostre preferenze e rivisitare ogni tipo di cocktail. Posto fantastico.

Una bellissima esperienza da ripetere assolutamente. Il barman Jacopo ci ha letteralmente accompagnati in questa avventura fatta di storia, idee e cocktail.Attenzione: si accede solo su prenotazione tramite il loro sito internet.Abbiamo prenotato per un giorno feriale con circa un mese di anticipo.Spettacolare.

We saw this place on the TV show travel man 48 hours in Milan, and my partner exclaimed that she would love to go. As I had booked a surprised trip to Milan I went ahead and booked. So glad I did. YOU MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE. This is a tiny old world style bar seating a max of 4 people. The bar tender will chat with your party about likes and dislikes and make you the most amazing tailor made cocktails. I had 3 during my 1 hour booking and each were amazing. This is a must do in Milan. Remember book in advance. I booked in late Jan for a visit in April. It was almost fully booked for April at the time.

It was an amazing experience! Our personal bartender Frederico was really funny and great to talk to. And the cocktails he made were really tasty. I definitely recommend to visit Backdoor 43 if you are in Milan :))
