Ristorante Enoteca Del Duca
We have entered this restaurant only because of the Michelin star.The waiters were both excellent.The food... We had 4 courses testing menu. The starter was OK, but nothing special- wild boar with fruits, the quality was 50gr maybe. The second was something strange made of patatos , mushrooms and maybe domatos, definitely not much tasty. The mm main course was small but good, it was a pigeon. The desserts were outstanding, really. They sell cheap wine for 25-35€ which can be bought for 6€ in the supermarket. Most of the dishes are very small. Nobody asked for allergies taking into consideration that when a tasting menu is ordered the decision what would be delivered is coming by the chef.The garden was full of smoke because of the barbeque, this was really unpleasant.

Locale raffinato, personale educato ed accogliente con i clienti. Ottima cucina tipica toscana ed ottimi i vini. Prezzo in linea con la qualità e la particolarità dei piatti, che sono ben presentati al cliente. Lo consiglio.

By far the best dining experience in Volterra. It has one Michelin star. It is a full course meal that offers several unique dishes including chicken liver, limoncillo pappardelline with lobster, and octopus (each pictured). The drink selection is endless, the food is incredible, the staff are incredibly hospitable, and the environment is spectacular. It’s hidden in the corner of Volterra’s alleys. The owner was kind enough to show us around and take a picture with us. It is by far one of my favorite dining experiences in Tuscany.

Best meal we’ve had in Italy so far. Very nice and elegant restaurant. Very kind staff. But the food… wow! My sausage and puff pasty appetizer… I could have just ordered that all night. And the Ragu pasta…. A dream. The pasta was cooked perfectly. A definite must if you’re in Volterra!

This is considered to be the best restaurant in Volterra area and has a Michelin guide recommendation but it does NOT have a star as many reviews mention.We went there for a prix fixe New Year's Eve and while the service was good, the food was very surprisingly subpar for the caliber of this restaurant. Pretty uninspired and boring prix fixe menu, pretty heavy on pasta. Wine service and pairing was also amiss.

Il maître dell’enoteca consiglia di bere bottiglie da mille e una notte, gli altri vini vengono completamente snobbati in quanto la cantina non sia poco fornita. Ad ogni commensale ha suggerito sassicaia al modico prezzo di €500, obbligando quasi la scelta. Non lo reputo opportuno.Oltretutto proponeva false copie di quadri del Caravaggio esposti all’ interno del locale a cifre spropositate.Cibo passabile…

Grazie a dei cari amici abbiamo potuto conoscere questo Ristorante in cui abbiamo pranzato per festeggiare il compleanno del mio compagno.Locale molto accogliente, personale di sala gentile e premuroso, menù di terra e di mare.Io ho gustato un antipasto, Pan brioche con patè di fegatini, anatra all'arancia, ed una degustazione di tre panna cotta molecolare: tutto ottimo ma l'anatra era super.Bella corte esterna ancora non aperta con barbecue che in estate ci siamo ripromessi di provare.

Location bellissimo, ottima accoglienza, professionalità, gentilezza e cortesia. I piatti ottimi, sia la qualità sia la presentazione. Antipasto: tartare di chianina e crostini toscani (presentati in maniera splendida). 1 primo: tagliolini al tartufo, 1 Secondo: anatra all'arancia accompagnata con un cilindro di verdure meraviglioso. Dolci: 1 millefoglie 1 panna cotta con tre gusti che non ho mai assaggiato una eguale! 1 calice di rosso, acqua e 2 Caffè. Siamo stati benissimo, sicuramente da consigliare.
