Bellagio

Getting back from Bellagio to other cities around Lake Como is an absolute mess. Besides it being quite unclear which ferry you have to take, the queues are long during summertime, which means you'll have to wait for a couple of hours (!) to actually get on a ferry. Even then, it feels like 'I am Legend' to get on the ferry. I feel like they could organize this better.

If you're coming to Bellagio for the day, buy your return ferry ticket in advance to avoid massive queues at the ticket office in the afternoon.

Very poor arrangement if you are looking for a return trip to Como in late afternoon. There are only very few fast boats and the service will be ended latest at 5pm. The slow option takes around 2 hours so basically it takes up to 4 hours for a return trip which does not worth at all. People were queuing like refugees and stuck at the ticket station with no clear updates from the staff. Don’t come to Bellagio esp during holidays unless you really have no plans in Italy.
