Terra di Seta

Abbiamo trascorso una giornata indimenticabile insieme a Daniele e Maria, nella loro vigna nel Chianti, ed a pranzo abbiamo gustato le prelibatezze della cucina tradizionale Toscana certificata kosher.

We had a fantastic visit to the vineyard with an excellent explanation about the kosher wines they make. We also had a wine tasting and Tuscan lunch afterwards. An amazing experience. Small family business and very different from all the other winery visits we did.

We ate at Terra di Seta this past summer, following a spectacular tour of this lovely winery. It was a total pleasure! They serve dairy meals - not a lot of options (so not great if you’re a very picky eater) - but everything was delicious!! The atmosphere was stunning. The views incredible. The wine was delicious as well! Highly highly recommend. (Also I have celiac and they were able to provide me with safe gluten free food!)

Overall, fantastic experience!Our family came to explore Tuscany and, specifically, the kosher wine-making scene and stayed at Terra di Seta for a week.Terra di Seta wines are exceptional, wine tour is highly recommended.Accommodations are beautiful, spacious and well-appointed, each apartment has a full kitchen plus an outdoor area.Views are magnificent and the kids enjoyed the poolSiena is about 20 min drive ; there are couple large supermarkets with excellent vegetables, fresh fish, pasta and dairy products,so we were able to cook some of our meals, especially breakfasts.The owners are very pleasant, helpful, they patiently answered tons of questions and accommodated additional requests.Few technical" points to take into account if you are planning to stay:- it is a country side with winding country roads. Try to arrive in daylight- you'll need mosquito repellent- no microwave in the kitchen"

Our visit to the kosher Terra di Seta was the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the informative tour of the winery, the special kosher wine tasting, and the outstanding lunch in the garden. Everything about this vineyard exceeded our expectations. The friendly professionalism of the staff, the impeccable wines, the cleanliness and order of the entire facility and the exceptional lunch were beyond joyful for us. This is an experience that I would recommend to any kosher traveler.Be advised that you need to reserve in advance, and you will probably have to rent a car to get there, as we did from Florence, where it was only an hour's drive away, in Chianti. The closest major city is Siena.The owners are lovely, kudos to them! I hope we will return someday soon.Arrivederci!
