Studio Ortodontico Associato Dr. Garino

Dr. Garino's practice is very neat, modern and located in a posh situation. However, Dr. Garino needs to learn how to behave with his patients. I booked a first visit with him for €100 (this does not include the cost of X-rays). This might seem absurd but provided his accomplishments it is worthy of him asking the first visit fee. Before the first visit, he answered to my 2 emails himself which is quite unusual for a dentist. Thanks to him! We went to the first visit almost everything went fine. At the beginning, I took out a paper on which I had jotted down all my doubts and questions for him. Even though he answered all of them but he wasn't happy with it saying that this is not used to have such types of interview. After the first visit, I forgot to write which option was better for me so I wrote him an email before possibly starting the orthodontic treatment to confirm which option is better for me. 3 days later after I sent him a reminder, he says that he is not used to keep email correspondence with 'new patients'. Even after taking the first visit cost he can't reassure me which option is better for me for a probably once in a lifetime experience (orthodontics). In his own words, he says he is not used to be pressed to answer emails. My question for him is then why have one ? Just to book appointments and letting me know the cost of first visit? This was the point where I lost my calm with his outrageous behavior. Like I have paid you for the first visit at least confirm me instead of taunting me since I am apologizing for not being able to write it when I visited you. Secondly, please don't go to him if you consider orthodontics as medicine that has to some extent a cosmetic function too. As a rule of thumb, orthodontics (unless in extreme cases) is not solely a functional medicine like a heart disease treatment which has only functional outcomes. Orthodontics tends to improve aesthetics, too. He says in his own words in the email attached that his job is to correct malocclusion not to make cosmetic transformation. He'll carry the treatment in a way which he thinks is better. So if you are thinking to have a cosmetic transformation with orthodontics as a pathway, please consider before booking the first visit. The conclusion is that Dr. Garino is indeed a world-class doctor but he is stiff-necked. If you are considering orthodontics for functionality only then go to him you won't find a better option in Torino (perhaps in whole Italy).

Il Dr. Garino è di certo un professionista esperto e competente.Mi segue da ormai anni e ha svolto un lavoro eccellente. Mi sono rivolto a lui molto molto prevenuto a causa di bruttissime esperienze in passato con altri dentisti e apparecchi che mi hanno rovinato tutti i denti.Con lui ho trovato finalmente un piano di trattamento adatto a me e alle mie esigenze.Adesso sono quasi al termine del percorso e devo ringraziarlo per tutti gli sforzi che mette nel suo lavoro e all'aiuto che mi ha dato nel seguirmi quando mi è stato reimpiantato un dente a seguito di un incidente.Lo studio è dotato di tecnologie all'avanguardia per offrirti un piano personalizzato ad hoc per permetterti di ottenere la versione migliore del tuo sorriso, che temevo non avrei mai avuto la possibilità di vedere.Oltre alla tecnologia, mi sento di dovermi soffermare sull'esperienza provata dal paziente, che sin da subito, si trova in uno spazio dove è tutto pensato per lui. In sala d'attesa è presente una colonnina per bere un po' d'acqua, un purificatore d'aria Dyson, delle stupende grafiche sui muri (presenti in tutto lo studio), delle riviste e un box dove è possibile ricaricare il proprio dispositivo elettronico in caso di necessità, anche se non ho mai atteso più di 10 minuti.In conclusione se avete bisogno di un professionista competente ed esperto nel settore ortodontico, facendo una visita da lui, non sbaglierete a scegliere.
