Superb experience. We stopped by after being dropped off by our tour guide and my wife fell in love with a few sets of earrings that were crafted as inlayed wood - a popular aspect of Sorrento. The shop owner, Guarracino was polite and helpful in English

We were taken to this lovely shop by our tour guide. I appreciated learning the story of how these unique and beautiful items are created. I went back the next day to talk with the owner who is obviously passionate about his craft. He explained that he learned this out of love for artistry which is evident in each piece. I bought a traditional box with the two cats, a few magnets, and delightful lemon earrings. I would love to have this shop nearby as I would surely be a frequent customer. Do visit his shop for a rare encounter with a skilled artisan. We are losing these talents in our overly mass produced consumer society. These souvenirs will be treasures for your friends and family.

Artigianato locale ma dedicato a gioielli ed altri oggetti, diversi dai vecchi lavori di intarsiato, quindi molto innovativo con idee nuove e ottima manifattura.

Ho comprato due paia di orecchini bellissimi e molto particolari. Il sig. Tonino è un vero artigiano che lavora con il cuore, oltre ad avere un'abilità incredibile. Vale la pena fare un giretto in vie meno frequentate di Sorrento. Lì troverete dei piccoli tesori, come questo negozio.

Camminando per i vicoli di Sorrento ho avuto il piacere e la fortuna di incontrare Tonino e di sentir raccontare dell’intarsiatura del legno con grande passione. Ho successivamente deciso di acquistare due paia di orecchini, che mi sono stati gentilmente inviati a casa con grande premura. Sono davvero soddisfatta e consiglio a tutti di andare a scoprire un po’ di tradizione in questo angolo di Sorrento!

C'est un artisanat local où nous pouvons voir travailler le propriétaire.Très jolies réalisations à tous les prix, un vrai travail d'artiste, en plus il prend bien le temps d'expliquer sa passion pour le bois.Il peut même réaliser des commandes sur mesure : initiales ou prénom sur des pendentifs ou porte clé.Très sympa, à voir et à encourager.

WOW! Accidentally finding Antonino's was the highlight of Sorrento for me! I collect local made earrings whenever I can. Antonino's shop is so humble and so welcoming and he produces such magic! He was patient in describing his work to us, with visuals, to really illustrate how intricate his work is. He was trying to create more pieces but took the time to talk to us. I could have purchased a lot of earrings! His prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable! I spent less on my earrings than a bottle of lemoncello! What an incredible way to honour the inlaid wood tradition while putting a unique and personal spin on it! I will be telling anyone who asks in Facebook groups for Italy recommendations to stop at L'Orafo del Legno!
