Wow! What an amazing find! The grounds are very nice. The art exhibit on the second floor was amazing! A local photographer's (Raffaele Celentano) b&w photos are incredible, especially the Mother Theresa section. The views from the building are the best in the entire city! Also, the price of admission to the art exhibit was only 5€!

Non posso che consigliare una visita al Chiostro San Francesco a chiunque si trovi a Sorrento. È un luogo perfetto per una pausa rilassante durante una giornata di visite turistiche o semplicemente per godersi un momento di tranquillità immersi nella bellezza storica e naturale. Non dimenticherò facilmente l'esperienza di questo incantevole chiostro e sono sicuro che ne sarai anche tu affascinato.

Such a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony!As a wedding photographer, I get to travel around Europe visiting some of the most best wedding venues. The cloisters is truly unique and a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony before choosing a local venue like Villa Antiche Mura for your wedding reception.Highly recommended.

Molto caratteristico e affascinante.Tenuto in condizioni veramente ottime.Da visitare in occasione della visita alla villa Comunale.Raggiungibile a piedi dista poche centinaia di metri dal mega parcheggio presente all'inizio della zona pedonale

Wonderful free historic cloister to visit! The entry doorway feels a bit hidden so look for signs. It is one of the oldest monuments of Sorrento and located adjacent to the church. The small doorway/hallway you walk through opens to the beautiful old courtyard you see in the photos. Built on the ruins of a 7th-century monastery, the cloister blends 14th-century style with the following period styles, incorporating ruins from pagan temples and other archaeological sites. There’s also a paid photo gallery upstairs that usually features local artists.

You don't need tickets but you do need to know where it is as it is hidden up and alleyway which then opens up. Lovely place for a photo opportunity. It's also attached to a local photographers shop. The lady who works there is ever so friendly and we happily chatted about photography for some time. We'll worth a visit. Free to walk around.

Interessante dal punto di vista storico e architettonico. Molto bello, pur nella sua semplicità. Da inserire nell'itinerario di visita a Sorrento.

Bel luogo! spesso ospita mostre ed esposizioni sia al primo piano che all'esterno. Diversabilarte mi ha colpita per l'importanza della tematica e per la passione di Vincenzo e Paolo.

A beautiful place, not obviously sign posted to look for the entrance to the area. We also visited a beautiful photo gallery at the top of the terrace with breathtaking views of Sorrento. There was an admission charge of €5 to the gallery but it was well worth it for the experience of the wonderful photos and the views.
