Difficile spiegare a parole i sapori dei cibi mangiati da Shapoor, sprigionano tutta la sua cura e la sapienza nel preparare dei piatti davvero straordinari! Da provare e non solo, ritornare è d’obbligo nel rispetto del proprio palato! Ottimo ristorante!

From the first moment as we entered the restaurant and the incredible scents were wafting from the kitchen, we knew that it would be great. And it was! We were welcomed with cardamom and saffron tea in tiny cups and a formal tea set.....The Mantu and the Pilau...were both spectacular, accompanied by butter soft, long stewed lamb swimming in a gravy that you wish you could savour daily. It was all just delicious, including the appetizer, the .....kebob....with heavenly pillows of potatoes and two sauces, one a yoghurt base and the other an Afghan chutney. Just WOW! Thank you to both the chef and the owner!

Ho mangiato veramente bene piatti tipici afghani ma anche altre proposte che assaggerò la prossima volta ...sicuramente il Calzone e i ravioli sono stati molto graditi ...da riprovare

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Atmosfera autentica in un posto semplice che sa di casa. Sapori ricchi di sfumature e spezie. Shapoor un attento padrone di casa. Torneremo!

Amazing food, great quality, rich flavor and affordable prices. I had lived in several middle eastern and central Asian countries and I missed authentic Oriental flavors here in Italy and I must admit that I have finally found what I was looking for!

If you are in Palermo, you should definitely include this in your list of places to experience. The food is great, the service is genuinely friendly, and it embodies the best parts of this city. Palermo has always been a mixing pot of cultures and this place is a great example of the richness of and variety that you can find here. The restaurant is a favourite for locals and shouldn’t be missed by anyone visiting.

Mangiare cibo cucinato dalle mani di Shapoor è ricevere il dono di un esperienza celestiale. Il cibo è delizioso, l’atmosfera è calorosa ma soprattutto autentica. Un posto unico.La scelta vegetariana e vegana è infinita e la sensibilità dello staff è rivolta a qualunque tipo di restrizione e preferenza, insomma adatto a chiunque!

They work very hard and the food is good. But it takes a very long time, even for Italian standards. The square it’s in is very sketchy but some might say very authentic.
