Osteria romana verace!Accoglienza vivace, battute romane come se piovessero, staff giovane e simpatico.Che dire dei piatti...Abbiamo preso la gricia, l'amatriciana e la coda alla vaccinara.Tutto buonissimo!Consiglio di prenotare altrimenti si rischia di non trovare posto...Mi ha fatto piacere notare che ai tavoli erano presenti molti romani.A buon intenditore poche parole.Continuate cosi!

What a lovely night at Zi Umberto! Everything was great! The food was delicious, they treated us like friends! I absolutely recommend it, and would visit again when in Rome! My only tiny complaint was that the fiori di zucca had a bit of a fishy smell (my guess is that they were fried in the same oil as some fish was, maybe it was by accident)! Apart from that, everything was great (and pretty affordable too)!!If you want to sit out, you’d definitely need a reservation in advance!

Absolutely delicious local dishes at a gorgeous cosy Italian restaurant. Best cacio e pepe we have ever tasted and the lamb dish sensational. A MUST visit in Roma! As a tourist, some people might think that service is brusk in comparison to what you are used to but you need to keep in mind that tourists are dining at a restaurant made for locals so be polite patience, and thankful for their service and divine food.

Tipica trattoria romana popolare di Trastevere con prezzi bassi e servizio davvero simpatico e alla mano. La cucina è sufficiente, così così la cacio e pepe, sufficiente la carbonara, buonissime ma proprio tanto le polpette. Merita comunque un voto alto perché pranzando qui si sta bene in un ambiente piacevole e onesto. Non è poca cosa.

In viaggio per lavoro mi è stato consigliato da un collega romano e ho fatto bene a fidarmi! Nel cuore di Trastevere piccola trattoria tipica dov’è si mangia tanto e si spende il giusto: siamo arrivati senza prenotazione ( mercoledì sera pero’) e ci hanno sistemato nonostante fosse quasi tutto esaurito. Mangiato benissimo, salumi squisiti, porzioni abbondanti e carbonara da urlo!! La spesa è onesta , Consigliatissimo!

Locale davvero accogliente, lo staff è qualificato, il loro essere simpatici ed ironici hanno reso il nostro pranzo davvero bellissimo. Abbiamo assaggiato piatti tipici Romani, di cui, carbonara, l'amatriciana e i saltimbocca alla romana, davvero tutti ottimi ☺️

Finally something outside the cold cuts and pizzas! It starts with a great service; the real one where the waiters becomes your partners; then the menu options are great; setting is super cozy! I took the rabbit; it was cut so small; but still taste great. After your lunch and pitcher, you will get free amaretto and limoncello shots, if not bottles on your table! Sublime

Amazing food! During a two-week tour around Italy, we encountered many many amazing meals, but very few elicited true wows out of our group. This place earned many WOWs. Like many have said, the cacio e pepe is a level above. Everyone ejoyed their meals. I found the service a bit rushed for what we had become accustomed to in Italy, but it was an amazing meal nonetheless.

Trattoria molto carina con camerieri bravissimi. Peccato per il cibo, mai mangiato così male nella mia vita! Filetti di baccalà crudi dentro e senza baccalà (vedete le foto, parlano da sole!). La pasta alla carbonara era insipida, acquosa e con guanciale quasi crudo. Per non parlare del vino. Peccato perché quando ci sono stata qualche anno fa era un ristorante tipico romano buonissimo! P.s. il pane era buono però.

This place is a gem. Delicious food AND wonderful service. This location was recommended to me, and I'll continue to recommend it to others. Delicious pasta and the best meatballs we've ever tried. I'd love to come back to this restaurant.
