Tourists can get tested here - testing is offered between 08:00 and 10:00 on weekdays. It's a bit of a process and most everything is in Italian, but I will try to explain. Bring your passport and wait in (what for us was a short) line to get checked in. Residents appear to have registered online in advance, but the woman in a small office took our details and then printed out the form that the residents already had. Then you go across the lobby to a red machine to pay. You insert the form and your credit card - make sure you know your PIN because it asks for it. Then give one half of the receipt to the person in the small office and wait to be tested. Once tested wait for about 20 minutes to get results. The interim report is in English and Italian and this was accepted at Venice airport. There is an option to download a formal report online after two days using the PIN provided on the form we got in the small office, but it requires a fiscal control number that tourists don't have. The whole process took a little over an hour, but for us it's way better than going to the airport or bus station to get tested.

went on the recommendation that i could have a covid test done here not true you need to book online whiteout any help whatsoever. Am struggling to find the correct site to do the online appointment on top of everything sit is all in Italian. will never come back here again.
