Hotel Schwarzschmied

We loved everything about our stay at the Schwarzschmied: friendly staff, great and abundant food, a focused but well-thought wine list and great spa treatments and facilities. I was impressed by how every detail met our expectations or exceeded them. I will certainly recommend this hotel to our friends and hope to visit again in the future. Congratulations to all the staff.

My wife and I spent 2 nights and were absolutely charmed by this hotel and its surrounding region. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful, we enjoyed the yoga classes and spa, the food was superb, and hiking around was spectacular. We hope to be back soon!

Ottima accoglienza e qualità del servizio, le piscine, sia quella interna che quella esterna, sono molto belle e ben tenute. Garage spazioso e ben distribuito, sotterraneo, al coperto e gratuito. La cena è servita nella terrazza esterna in modo da apprezzare il contorno delle vigne nelle quali l'hotel è immerso. Un po' costosi gli extra, ma nel complesso si sta molto bene

Would not recommend this hotel, particularly if you are vegetarian or vegan - the hotel says that it is vegetarian / vegan friendly, and whilst it does have options on the menu at the restaurant La Fucina, the portion sizes are laughable.However, the reason for 2 stars is as follows:1. The aircon is temperamental and does not go below 22oC. We spent a night where it stopped working overnight, got fixed but then the room continued to remain pretty warm because it would not go below 22oC.2. The bathroom amenities are basic, as if you were staying at a 2 or 3 star hotel. For over €450/night the basic amenities you would expect are shampoo, conditioner and body soap. No conditioner in the room, but the hotel is happy to sell you some in the lobby.3. If you book dinner in the restaurant be sure to say it should be in the restaurant itself (again strange that you have to say this specifically). Had booked the restaurant for my husband’s birthday well in advance and was made to sit in the lobby. When I complained, I was told I needed to have been more specific about sitting in the restaurant and there were other guests of the hotel for which the tables could not be released. The dinner then got progressively worse with the waiter spilling wine on me, and the food being very small in portion sizes.The waiters and staff are polite and apologetic and it is well located for hiking, but for over €450/night this hotel is not worth it. Charging 4 or 5 star prices for a mediocre 3 star hotel.Additionally, when we gave this feedback back to the hotel in a survey they asked us to fill, they simply wrote to say that they treat all their guests with the same level of importance. Very disappointing.

It was our second time here, and honestly, we already plan for our next stay.Lana and its surroundings are simply wonderful and perfect for an active vacation. The hotel supports you with relaxing and everything you might need to have a mindful and pleasant stay.There are daily Yoga classes (different styles) and guided hikes.The food is fantastic and the daily changing dinner menu always offers a vegetarian and vegan option. But what makes this hotel so special are the people. They welcome you in, they are super attentive and friendly. The service is outstanding and seasoned staff as well as trainees are just top notch.Coming back soon. ❤️

Hotel molto bello, arredamento moderno che offre delle viste magnifiche sul paesaggio. Ambienti puliti e confortevoli. Il motivo per cui non ho messo 5 stelle é che ho trovato il personale un pó freddo e soprattutto per me e il mio ragazzo che visitavamo Lana per la prima volta, non ci hanno saputo dare indicazioni sulle cose da visitare o sui percorsi a piedi da percorrere (sul sito di Lana ho visto che ce n'erano parecchi). Non ci hanno nemmeno detto che la card che ci avevano consegnato serviva per avere sconti su diverse attrazioni nei dintorni. Inoltre non mi é piaciuto che il longe bar, il ristorante chiudessero molto presto rispetto agli orari a cui una coppia di giovani é abituata. Città di Lana completamente spenta la sera dopo le 21.30.

Grandissima cura dei dettagli. Le suite con terrazzo sono decisamente di qualità eccelsa. Comfort. Spa attrezzata e piscina esterna meravigliosa. Cucina di altissimo livello.

Location incantevole: le aree esterne sono immerse in un verde curatissimo, anche le camere che affacciano sul retro dell'hotel hanno una vista magnifica sulle montagne e sul verde. Il personale, in eccezional modo i camerieri, sono estremamente gentili ed attenti ad ogni dettaglio per l'ospite. Davvero lo consiglio.
