La Piazzetta Guest House

Appartamento con soppalco, un letto singolo al piano di sotto, un letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo al piano di sopra. Armadio molto piccolo ma abbiamo soggiornato solo due notti. Arredato con gusto, il balcone, con stendino per asciugare i costumi, si affaccia sulla piazza del municipio. Zona centralissima in un palazzo d’epoca con ascensore. Personale gentile. Servizio molto comodo: all’arrivo (da coordinare con reception) scarichi le valige poi ti vengono a prendere l’auto e la portano in un parcheggio custodito (extra 18€ al giorno, molto conveniente rispetto alla media), alla partenza te la riportano davanti alla porta del palazzo. La colazione viene fatta nel bar sotto con sconto, ma credo, anche se non sono sicura, che possa essere servita anche in struttura.

Staff SUPER cute and available!Room was amazing! Very clean and lighting!Location is great.Breakfast is so good and if you need early breakfast staff will give you a bag with some variety in!Definitely will return! And definitely recommend for a stay in Sorrento!

Siamo stati in questo bellissimo b&b una notte per visitare Sorrento e Capri . Il posto e' incantevole, molto curato nei minimi dettagli anche nella camera e nel bagno. Ma ciò che lo rende speciale e' la cura,la passione e la gentilezza del personale facendo sentire l'ospite a casa. Ottima la colazione con buoni prodotti, molto variegata. La passione che mettono nel curare l'ospitalità dovrebbe essere d'esempio a tanti Hotel stellati. Ve lo consiglio peccato che noi ci siamo stati solo una notte ma ci ritorneremo molto volentieri.

The location was perfect in terms of near downtown. That was only good thing about this place. It is very pricey as I paid 550 Euros for 2 nights. Let me start with saying that it’s not a hotel, it is actually a guest house. The reception or the help does not stay past 7 pm and starts their day at 9 am. The check in process was the receptionist nagging me almost 20 times to know when I was going to arrive to hotel just so that I arrive before her shift ends. The problem with the structure of the stay is , the day trips to visit Amalfi coast usually starts at 8 or 8:30 am and if there is anything you need from reception then there is no one to help you. The day trip usually ends at 6:30 pm and by the time you come back to hotel again there is no one to help in case you need a towel or anything as their shifts ends at 7 pm. The one thing that I absolutely hated was there cheapness and skimping on breakfast. Before we left for the day trip, we did not have enough time to finish the breakfast so we had left some in the room and left a DND sign outside the door. When delivering the bag breakfast next day, they not only took the breakfast but also turned the AC off. I had left the AC on because after a tiring day I didn’t want to come back to a hot room. It was absolutely ridiculous. The walls of the rooms are super super thin. If someone would flush in next room I use to hear it in the morning. It was a terrible stay for us and would never choose if I ever come back.

If you are in Sorrento this place is what you are looking for. What is not to love in sorrento but this place made our stay special. The staff is extremely kind and helpful from beginning to end with any and all requests. We honestly not want to leave. As far as the property it is in the best area with the best views from our balcony as well as ocean/ Mt Vesuvius view from our back window. Perfect place to walk this amazing coast town. Me and my family have found our new place from here on out when we are visiting Sorrento. Don't miss out this is the place !!!!

We had an excellent welcome to the property from Katerina who outlined all the best spots around the area on check in. The property is very well located in the centre of Sorrento with lovely rooms and sea view. We had a great time here. Hugh & Una

Staff very good and friendly. Rooms a bit tight, but it’s Europe. Ideal location for Sorrento. If you’re thin? You’re in !!! Low ceilings but staff made all the difference.

Wow, I cannot say enough how amazing this place was. I proposed to my girlfriend in Sorrento and we stayed in the Superior Apartment. The view of the city combined with the unique loft styling of the room made me want to stay there forever. Not to mention they’re top of the line staff, Caterina was so helpful and made it so special for everything I needed to make my proposal night perfect. She accommodated any specific things I needed and gave me the best locations in town for food, drinks, and fun. This place is so worth the price and I will be going again in future years for the amazing service. A million thanks to this place and Caterina!
