Classic Florentine stop for cheese and salumi, as well as other local goods. Family owned and run and the owner knows a lot about his products and has excellent and interesting cheeses.

My partner and I stopped in to this beautiful little store to get supplies for our picnic and were amazed at the selection of meats and cheeses inside. We had limited Italian and the server limited English but he was patient in making recommendations. Absolutely amazed with the produce we walked away with and such a friendly experience.

This is where the “Cheese King” reigns. Such a gift to Florence. A passionate shop owner that is knowledgeable and kind with helping me as a tourist. Visited as part of a food tour, but returned on my own. They helped me with local cheese and meats, olives, and bread that resulted in an evening of bliss. Well worth the walk across the river to support a genuine local shop owner. Google the shop times to make sure they are open. 5+ stars.

Loved stopping in to this local, family-owned shop. The 'King of Cheese was very helpful and funny too. Ended up getting the formaggio tartufi which was very good. Absolutely worth visiting."
