We visited this quaint shop in 2015. My wife eyed a pair of boots that she adored. I asked her to go outside so I could by them for her 40th birthday which we were celebrating on the trip. Ms. Zanella was gracious and a pleasure to do business with. Would be great to visit again!

I recently purchased a pair of handmade shoes from Zanella Giovanna's store and I must say, I am extremely impressed with the quality of her work. The shoes are not only stylish but also very comfortable to wear. It's evident that Giovanna is passionate about her craft, as she took great care in creating the shoes to perfection.The process of ordering the shoes was smooth and Giovanna kept me informed throughout the two-week period it took to make the shoes. When I received the shoes, I was blown away by the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that went into making them.What's more, the shoes were priced very reasonably, considering the level of quality and the fact that they were handmade. I presented them to my fiance as a birthday gift and she was over the moon with joy.

Ecco un'altra artigiana di eccellenza ,che rappresenta l'italianità al meglio: creatività, unicità, eleganza, qualità dei materiali e anche un pizzico di eccentricità. Ogni tanto bisognerebbe andare da questi artigiani come si va al mare, a respirare a pieni polmoni, a rifarsi gli occhi e a capire che il bello non vuol dire essere alla moda. Una volta conosciuta l'artigianalità si scopre che crea dipendenza, ma benevola.

I had a pair of shoes made by the delightful Signora Zanella last year. They are wonderful - not cheap, but worth every euro paid. I am absolutely delighted with my shoes, which are unique, fit perfectly and are like wearing gloves on my feet. Every time I wear the shoes, I'm stopped in the street and complimented on my footwear. I found Signora Zanella herself to be a very warm, friendly person. She spent a lot of time with me helping me to choose the right leathers (I chose suede) and colours for the shoes, which a re a true work of art. I have every intention of asking her to make me another pair of shoes when I return to Venice this year and would recommend a visit to her fascinating shop, even if you don't buy any shoes.

Mia moglie si è fatta confezionare un paio di scarpe su misura per un evento importante.Quando è andata a ritirarle, si è resa conto in modo estremamente traumatico che le scarpe erano state confezionate con misure completamente sbagliate.Posso assicurare che non c'era stato alcun cambiamento nella forma e nella dimensione del piede. In sostanza, il lavoro era stato fatto male.Alla fine per mia moglie dovuto usare un altro paio di scarpe, dieci volte più economico, e paradossalmente molto più comodo.In momenti successivi sono stati fatti alcuni tentativi di calzare le scarpe in questione, pur con molti dolori di piede, e abbiamo potuto constatare la scarsa qualità dei materiali, che hanno iniziato a degradarsi molto rapidamente.L'esperienza è stata negativa e deludente, non la auguro a nessuno.Rapporto qualità/prezzo pessimo

Most of her shoes are custom-made, though if an in-store model fits, it's for sale. Ms Zanella herself is precise, no-nonsense and insightful ; her shoes are art, pairs of wearable whimsy, for both men and women. Custom shoe orders take 2–4 months to fulfil.

Oggi in un conviviale incontro dimostrando spontaneo interesse e curiosità per le Sue nobili creazioni mi sono ritrovato allibito di fronte a cotanta meschinità. Il mio monito cara e gentile Signora Zanella non vuole sminuire il suo estro creativo, che ai miei occhi ora appare come semplice manualità. Visto che lei per prima sminuisce il lavoro altrui. L’umiltà era ed è di casa in artisti più valenti di Lei.
