SoprArno Suites
We had a fantastic stay at the Soprano Suites and felt this was the perfect base for our days in Florence. The hotel is peaceful and intimate and rooms spacious, clean and full of character. Whilst this is not a hotel, so don’t expect room service, 24/7 reception etc, there was always someone available to help and provide us with recommendations, advice, and to book taxis. We especially liked the honesty bar and the complimentary coffee in the upstairs kitchen, available all day and night. It felt really comfortable and homely, but still chic. The location was perfect, in what was our favourite neighbourhood in Florence: less tourists and more locals and lots of great restaurants and bars (4 Leoni is great), whilst still being a 5 minute walk over the Arno to all the action.Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Soprarno Suites. It is in a location that feels less crowded and touristy so that was very pleasant. The property itself is adorable and quaint. It felt very comfortable. We stayed 5 nights and it did not feel crowded in our room. The showers are huge with wonderful water temperature and pressure. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We were given a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a great touch. My husband and I enjoyed the breakfast options. The only thing I wish was that breakfast was offered earlier in the morning. It did not begin until 8am so it was challenging to go if you had an early tour or activities planned. We had to miss breakfast 1-2 times because of that. Another thing I did not love was the lighting in the bathrooms. It was a little dark so applying make up was a little challenging as I couldn't see everything clearly. Overall though I loved the vibe of the property and would highly recommend to others coming into to Florence.

Hospitaily at its finest- this small boutique hotel is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and their rooms are perfect. Tall ceilings, clawfoot tub in the bedroom, great service.Walking distance to everything. Would recommend this place to anyone.

An incredible experience in the heart of Florence, just over the river so you can avoid the worst of the tourist crunch, but still close to everything. Stunning rooms and impeccable and creative design.

Location incantevole a due passi da Palazzo Pitti e dal Ponte Vecchio, le camere sono arredate con grande attenzione ai dettagli e alla reception le due signorine Floriana e Brunella sono state gentilissime e disponibili. Consiglio vivamente . Ritorneremo qui appena possibile.

Really poor service and zero empathy. I booked my trip months back and we were to fly to Rome and then Florence, staying at the Soprarno Suites. The day before flying due to to extreme heat reaching 38degrees in Rome. I collapsed and an ambulance was called. Being 10 weeks pregnant I was advised by the Italian Dr’s to not travel as Florence was 5-6degrees hotter and weather warnings had been issued. Having had one miscarriage previously I was very concerned about this pregnancy so we took the Dr’s advice. We tried to contact the hotel for HOURS and there was no response. Our booking agent took 48hours to get in touch too after we contacted them. We had hoped the hotel would be sympathetic but we were told they had been contacted and couldnt care less and charged us a fair amount even though we tried to contact them less than 3hours after the deadline. So we didnt get to stay there as we went home but we wouldnt recommend to anyone. If a place doesnt answer the phone after 3 people are trying for 60hours.. how good can the service be in person?

Great place to stay and only a few minutes walk from the centre. We had a huge room with a decorated ceiling, walk in shower and good air conditioning. It was more than we’d usually pay for a room but it was worth it, very good breakfast too in a street level cafe. Each room is themed so enjoy choosing. Some of the furniture is vintage so don’t expect perfection. Our room faced the street so was a little noisy late at night with the windows open, but the windows closed well (with shutters and curtains too) and the AC was quiet. Very friendly staff and had stylish communal areas with a good coffee machine and an honesty bar. Pretty unique.

This is the perfect hotel for anyone who wants a true Florentine experience. This small boutique hotel has all of the amenities you need: very helpful staff, air conditioning, large clean rooms with lots of character, delicious breakfast...the list keeps going. Check in was very easy. Our room was far more spacious than we expected, and it was cleaned daily so we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was included in our fee, and it was worth every penny. Delicious breads, yogurts, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, and made-to-order espresso/coffee. The location could not be better - it sits just outside the craziness of the peak tourist areas but is only a 5-10 minute walk from all the action. There are a lot of great food and shopping options around the hotel. If you need transportation at checkout to get to your next destination, the hotel can also order a cab for you in advance. You can tell there's a lot of pride in this hotel, and I would definitely recommend putting it on your list!

Soprarno was a welcome surprise, the room was so spacious and cozy yet full of amenities. The breakfast is perfect. Floriana at the reception is the sweetest, she is very helpful and a great resource to help you plan your Florence agenda. The building has an elevator, it's a short walk from most attractions yet not in a very tourist area. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, honestly a no brainer to stay here if you get a booking
