Supposed to open at 7am. Wait until 7:35 and door is still locked.Met manager, he explained that there was a problem with the lock so he can't open it remotely.

Great place to do your laundry when traveling thru Stresa Italy. Very clean and easy to use. Washing machine include soap and softener. Dryers dry extremely fast

Very easy to use, see post below for info but all signs are in English, just follow the steps. Pay for all at the central machine, it gives change for euros. The owner even stopped in to guide me but I could have figured it out because of the clear directions! So nice to have clean laundry in middle of three week trip. FYI: medium in the dryer is quite hot. I put a linen shirt in for only 8 minutes and it shrunk. I should have used delicate.

The facility is clean and user friendly, with books to read & seating, along with two tables and five carts/bins/baskets. The instructions are clearly printed in English as well as another language. Choose a 9kg or 14kg sized washer for 5 or 8 euros. The machines automatically add detergent, softener, and a disinfectant. There is a spray bottle (spot treatment? surface cleaner?) , tennis balls (for dryer?, agitator?) and paper towels available for use. The machines operate by inserting currency into a wall mounted control unit which the user selects a machine number & type of service. There are several water temperature options which are chosen on the machine's display with a cycle countdown.I paid in cash since we're only needing to use once, but a card for multiple uses is available and the cost is discounted. The dryers are 1 euro with 15 kg capacity for 8 minutes. We chose this laundry room over another because it didn't smell perfumey, and the waiting area seemed nicer.
