What can be said about a Navy Base? It's not a place that you can visit as a tourist unless you have relatives serving at the station. So why do I give it a 5 star? I spent 34 years of my life serving as a civilian and it's practically a home for me. A beautiful military site as pretty as military sites can be I guess. Over the years, the Sicilians have accepted this little piece of America" transplanted in Sicily."

Lived here 10 years. If you're moving here don't stay inside the triangle" or you'll have a terrible time. Explore often and if possible just live 30mins away from base and really make the most of your tour."
