Such a peaceful afternoon spent here. There's plenty to look at and buy. They had a lot of little shops, restaurants, and bakeries close by as well.

Parcheggiato il camper e dormito per una notte perché l’area sosta camper totalmente al completo. Parcheggio gratuito e a 15 minuti a piedi da Piazza Duomo. Area video sorvegliata e tranquilla. Nessun cartello che indicata il divieto per la sosta camper.

Definitely worth the visit, it was beautiful. We took a half day bus tour from Florence. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area, so it was a 10 minute walk from parking to the tower and cathedral.

This visit the tower was not anchored by wires. I understand after the removal of subsoil/sand, the tower has recovered from leaning more, by approximately 42cm. Which according to experts has added 300yrs to it's life.However the temperature of 38 degrees and an hours wait to climb to the top, was too much to encounter.

Super hot here, heat just bounces off tge concrete. Have to pay to to enter each buliding, no bags aloud do have to be placed in locker, some nice stalls and cafes surrounding and good prices.

Free car park, 15 minutes walk to Pisa or catch a bus for €1.50 that takes you to door step of Pisa.There are cctv cameras at the car park, so don’t be afraid. Plenty of bus parking and drivers are always hanging around during the day. It seemed a safe place to park. Bays are big enough for suv.That train looking type bus isn’t for car park users, it’s for bus groups only. You need the orange coloured public bus.
