Forestis Dolomites

Wonderful hotel with a great spa. Lovely food with local ingredients, but loosing its finesse to overdoing fancy. The missing star goes to the lame desserts for dinner. I would love to have less things going on on my plate, and something different than sorbet in different variations every night. Nothing wrong with some well executed classics with a bit of twist. Oh, and please, do bring your truffled butter as a starter every night! :)

From the moment we were picked up the trip was perfect. All of the staff were amazing - very friendly and willing to help with anything we asked.We were upgraded during our stay and this was a pleasant surprise as we were celebrating a birthday. Without any requests from us this was a very nice surprise. We were also treated to a birthday cake on the day.The facilities have no faults - all work very well. Exceptional service.Food - was lovely.We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area and we will be back in the future along with friends and family.We felt very safe here as well.

Truly NO WORDS to describe this experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I came for 3 nights on our honeymoon and we’ve never had a better hotel experience. The staff, the hospitality, THE FOOD, the views, the amenities, the experience was beyond. The restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star, the menu changes every night, offering a variety of delicious tasting menus. The staff is so friendly, they treat you like royalty. They have plenty of staff on hand so you never feel like you have to wait for anything. The view was so breathtaking and you never get tired of it. The spa and pool are to die for. Be sure to check out the ‘no textile sauna’ area for private dipping pool, relaxation rooms, private saunas and an outdoor tub filled with natural mountain water. We will definitely be coming back to the Dolomites just to stay at Forestis. It’s our favorite place on earth and made our honeymoon travels the best trip of our lives. We will never forget it! This hotel deserves so many awards!!

Truly an incredible experience from beginning to end. Photos and videos don't do it justice.. We came here expecting it to be over priced, but the rooms, food, amenities and service made us feel like it was an absolute deal. Make sure to check out the sauna schedule, there are times where there are rituals you can attend. Also get your bed made outside and sleep among the stars on your balcony. Absolutely loved this place, a one of a kind experience.

As the name suggests the hotel sits surrounded by pines with a view of the Dolomites. But apart from the enviable view it is also a hotel of many superlatives. Although the main building is a beautiful old pine lodge it has extraordinary modern suites housed in three tall blocks. Then there is the extraordinary dual, in/out pool. Followed by evenings in a stunning dining room with exquisite cuisine. Hard to follow.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful at Forestis. We are already planning the next time we can return. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming and happy to accommodate any request. The location is peaceful and serene and the perfect place to recharge, reset, eat amazing food, drink spectacular wines, and fall deeply more in love with your companion. You can either choose to adventure with bikes, hiking or guided workouts and meditations or relax at the spa, by the beautiful pools and/or enjoy the different saunas and ice baths. My husband and I could not have enjoyed our stay more. Thank you to all at the beautiful Forestis!

We stayed here last summer with a group of 4 people for a prolonged weekend.Even considering the high price it was worth every cent.The rooms (we stayed in the tower) with amazing direct views towards the Dolomites are breathtaking. We especially loved the bed on the balcony. Just laying down there was so relaxing.The spa is amazing and offers really nice saunas. Just be aware that this area is really German and people go generally fully naked.The food is amazing and you can enjoy amazing views during dinner.We still dream to come back to Forestis and plan to do so soon.

We stayed at Forestis for part of our honeymoon, and had a fantastic stay. The views are absolutely unbeatable—we stayed in a tower suite and it was very, very worth it to wake up to that view each morning. The food was good, but the service was excellent—very personal touches, and the staff is wonderful. Super clean and well maintained hotel. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful. Buildings are well planned. Rooms are spacious and have clean decor. Staff is very friendly. Restaurant accommodated us last minute. Few things they could improve on is:1. Even tho do not disturb light/card was on someone still came in early morning and kept knocking and came inside till they realized that we were still sleeping.2. The spa was nice and clean. But the lady had frozen hands and that really took away from it being a relaxing experience. Also I wasn’t a big fan that they only used Forestis products. Because for one, they don’t smell that great and two, they don’t seem to have much clean and green ingredients. And the facial was extremely basic for something that costs €210, probably something you could do it yourself at home.3. The room gets extremely warm and it becomes almost impossible to sleep at night. The thermostat doesn’t go lower than 18 degrees and keeps saying 18 but it feels I like 30.4. Could also use more light in the room, especially, luggage area and bathroom5. Restaurant staff and food are excellent but their desserts fall short, not tasty at all.

I cannot say enough about this incredible experience. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.Every detail was perfect at Forestis. My wife and I spent 3 nights of our honeymoon here and we wished we would have made it longer! The staff was so helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They really help make the experience what it is.The food was exceptional, and the views of the Dolomites (which is what we really came for) were breathtaking. You will not be disappointed by staying here. This place is a 10/10, worth every penny and more!We will certainly be back in the future. Thank you Forestis!
