Villa Ravano

Having set our heart on a Tuscan wedding, searching for a property with a chapel and sleeping up to 40 guests was a real challenge. We had nothing to worry about!Fabio, Villa Ravano, Gello - where do we start!From the moment we contacted Fabio to enquire about this property, to the moment we handed back the keys following our week long booking, this property and the level of service from the host were absolutely second to none! We truly made a friend for life and I cannot do justice in these words as to how well our big occasion went.The property has a lovely pool, pool house, tennis court, football pitch, games room and much much more! It is full of true Italian charm.The food, attention to detail (on everything from flowers to fireworks!) and level of service form Fabio and the team is testament to the planning and hard work they put in. For any event, the beautiful Tuscan countryside and rustic feel will amaze and please any guests!Grazie Fabio and villa Ravano, a perfect property for any occasion or group meeting.

posto stupendo situato in una posizione strategica tra lucca e pisa (a pochi minuti dall'aeroporto) dove trascorrere momenti all'insegna del relax e dello sport. Dal giardino si respira la toscana:)

I would recommend Villa Ravano to anyone!! Fabio, Micaela and Monica took such incredible care of us and our families. By the end of our visit to this gorgeous, historic villa, we felt like we were all members of the same family. Monica cooked us the most delicious and authentic Italian food. Fabio stepped in when our wine tasting was cancelled and played the role of master sommelier, teaching us all about Tuscan wines. Micaela cared for us like we were her siblings.Aside from the care given, the grounds were stunning and very well taken care of. The pool was just what we needed to beat the heat and our children has so much fun running up and down the large lawns.Just watch out for the pesky Italian mosquitos as they are real stinkers!!

Beautiful and historic property. We used it for a company team building event and our host couldn't have been more helpful. He even drove a couple of us into the village and provided a guided tour that enabled us to get organised much faster than we would have done otherwise. I would highly recommend for any group function.

Cucina raffinata ma di sostanza, buona sia per carni che per pesce, top pasta e pane fatto in casa. Prezzi alti ma comunque in linea con il livello dei piatti. Ambiente elegante ma caldo e accogliente.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our booking, but Fabio will not refund our deposit even though we have a valid contract saying so. His reply is that we have already changed the date three times, so this is no longer valid. He have never written or said anything about this. He also uses months to reply on email, after a booking is made, and Does not reply at all on phonecalls. So if you have something unexpected happeing in your life, dont expect him to care that you have signed a contract. He will simply just say that a refund is not possible, and that he will give you a voucher instead, which is clearly a breach of contract.

Beautiful 16th century Villa with a blend of charming historic touches and modern conveniences. We traveled with 7 couples and loved all of the space, the number of bathrooms and the recreational facilities. But most of all, we loved our effervescent host Fabio, who was an expert Tuscan concierge. And the most amazing Italian cooks, Monica and Michela, who prepared breakfast and dinners for us all week. We met as strangers and left in tears, feeling like we were saying goodbye to family.
