Pasta and pizza were fantastic. Bazel and seafood pasta were favorites. Thin crust pizza with the most delicious sauce. Great table wine.

Maybe because we spoke mainly English it was assumed we did not know how Carbonara was prepared. For shame. I asked the waiter after I received my scrambled egg carbonara if this is how they made it at their restaurant and he said “yes”. I may be American but I have lived in Sicily and been all over Italy long enough to know that the egg was not tempered properly. The only reason the dish was not returned is thanks to my husband who was ready to get the kids to bed early. Beyond that the calamari was well made and my husband’s Casarecce alla Brontese was good. The Spaghetti alla Bolognese was a bit on the sweet side. overall the service was fine but please do not lie about the pasta.Forse perché parlavamo principalmente inglese, si presumeva che non sapessimo come veniva preparata la carbonara. Per vergogna. Ho chiesto al cameriere dopo aver ricevuto la mia carbonara di uova strapazzate se è così che l'hanno preparata nel loro ristorante e lui ha detto sì". Potrei essere americano ma ho vissuto in Sicilia e sono stato in tutta Italia abbastanza a lungo da sapere che l'uovo non era temperato correttamente. L'unico motivo per cui il piatto non è stato restituito è grazie a mio marito che era pronto a portare i bambini a letto presto. Oltre a ciò i calamari erano ben fatti e le Casarecce alla Brontese di mio marito erano buone. Gli spaghetti alla bolognese erano un po' dolci. nel complesso il servizio andava bene ma per favore non mentire sulla pasta."

Unfortunately we cannot understand the good reviews. We live in Germany and are used to fairly good Italian restaurants, this Primi Piatti was disappointing in many ways. We came for lunch and expected reasonable prices for simple but good food, in Cefalù we have been paying around 80€ with wine for two, so we wanted to try something more budget friendly. We arrived at 12:00 and the floor was still being cleaned, one family was already seated. That being said, we were probably the next people to order food. The candle holder and the glasses at the table were dirty, we asked the glasses to be changed and this happened right away. Not a good idea to order bottled wine because it’s a cheap 3€ bottle that will cost you 13€. I’d rather to pay more and get a bit of a better wine. Some people who arrived after us started eating their pasta. 45minutes after ordering I received my pasta, it tasted ok. My husband only got his pasta 1 hour after ordering, good that we were not in a tight schedule, it also did not taste that good. Maybe this place was good in the past, but from what we experienced today it feels totally not worth the visit.

Si trova in un vicolo del centro storico di Palermo, posto carino, servizio ok, mangiato bene. Prezzo ok (2 antipasti, 2 primi, 1 2 secondo, acqua, vino della casa, 2 caffè, 1 amaro ) 55€Molto bene.

This place is underrated, and if you are looking for a fancy place, food and presentation, then this is not for you.I love this restaurant for its simplicity, homemade and deliciousness. The vegetarian varieties are good, as my buddy had a good time, and I had the best homemade lasagna; I had never had a good one for many years.The staff don't speak English, and we don't speak Italian, but the food is our language, and we had an amazing time, and we came back twice.(Yesterday we went to a fancy place where we were full but unsatisfactory, that's why we came back here tonight)I am sharing my opinion as a food founder and in the restaurant business for generations.

Qualità del cibo e proporzioni dei prezzi adeguati. Magari abbonderei un po' più sulla quantità ma nel complesso direi che ne vale la pena. Personale molto gentile e disponibile

Definately the best food we've had during our trip across the whole Sicily. We've come the next day for lunch to have their pasta, too. The place is hidden from the main street, which creates calm atmosphere to enjoy the excellent food. The deserts are great too. Prices are very friendly.

Fantastic restaurant off the Main Street in the historical centre so a little quieter.Came here on my first night and again later for takeaway.Great food with efficient service.Both the spaghetti seafood and the margarita pizza I had were freshly cooked, well presented and delicious.Due to the temperature, and no air-con where I was sat, the atmosphere was a little quiet. Perfect for me though after having had a rather restless flight.Add a beer and water… and the price came to less than €24. Highly recommended!
