Beware - contrary to other routes drivers don't sell tickets and bus controllers regularly fine unexpected tourists in case of missing\wrong ticket

Had a couple of terrible experiences with the busses to Porto Venere during our stay there. During 3 out of 3 days, the busses came 20 minutes early or 20 minutes late. Sometimes they didn't come at all. Couldn't buy tickets on the bus, and the drivers didn't know where you could buy them either.

La spezia to Porto venere bus stop, should buy the bus ticket in T or supermarket in advance, 2.5 euro/pax. the bus maybe a bit late but be sure go there at least 10 min in advance
